Went in for a meet and greet with Dr. Jody and I have to say out of the four vet clinics I’ve dealt with in Airdrie I have to say this one is by far the best! The staff are extremely friendly and very very well educated in not only veterinary medicine but also trained in the fear free certification as well so they’re better equipped to deal with a stressed animal meaning they won’t have to be given unnecessary sedation to keep them calm, there are separate kennels for dogs and cats as well as separate exam rooms for dogs and cats to keep stress to a minimum, the clinic is odourless unlike most vet offices that wreak this place is actually spotless, they will give you a tour of the ENTIRE clinic instead of sticking you in an exam room to talk to you, I didn’t get to talk with Dr. Jody for too long because she had other appointments but from our brief conversation I felt listened to, accepted and confident with her abilities as a veterinarian. I think I found my new vet!

This clinic euthanized a healthy 2 year old dog today because it was an inconvenience to its owner. The same owner lied at several other clinics that the little dog was aggressive towards her baby but the other clinics refused to euthanize. Owner refused to surrender the dog to rescue group. Shame on the vet for doing this.

This clinic seems to push you for additional treatments, in particular dental cleaning. I have two dogs and I took one here for an issue three months ago and it cost over $200. This weekend my other dog had the same issue and I took him to another clinic and it cost me just over $100. Not going back.

I found one of the staff members to be very unfriendly with my dog. I had to wonder if she even likes animals. Poor (no) communication with blood test results, over priced. I will not go back again, I'd rather drive to another city if I have to.

Exceptional in every aspect!Truly caring about pets and clients.I took my dog there when he was sick and he received the best care! They were able to run tests and have some answers by the end of the day. Treatment was started that night and he was better in 2 days! They also followed up with me the next day to see how Fluffy is doing.The receptionist was very efficient and the vet knowledgeable and caring.I will always recommend Heartland!

Should be called Heartless. Absolutetly brutal support service, The Vet was ok, but unfeeling rude staff, with excessive billing. Our dog had to be euthanized. No compassion what so ever, the only thing that was important was doing an examinations, WHY? and of course the bill, yes the bill is very important. We had to get authorization from a family member as the account was only in one name and a staff member actually yelled at me. She only needed the person to authorize a family member to act on her behalf but instead she wanted to go through everything that was wrong, again to upset the person one more time. Why!!! Then yelled "this is legal". Wow catch you at your most vulnerable time and yell at you. Then make you wait 15 minutes for the bill with your pet and ask if you want to watch it die. That right watch!!!! Wow the only thing important here is the examination, billable you know, and of course the bill! If you love your pet this is not place to go. Run!!!

On 3 seperate times, Ihave seen this vet clinic offer the most expensive, sometimes not nessary treatments, without sucess. I will not return, I a feel they they are taking advantage of people in their most vaunrable state and billing the life out of them. Airdrie, and 2 other vet clinics, go to them. Forger heartland & Lazer Vet.
