Someday veterinarians that advertise
exotics care will actually know what
they are doing - by using your pet for
training purposes of course. Beware guinea pig owners, these people know not the first thing about cavies. They stress killed my sow on March 31,2012. Every exotics vet knows you don't overstress an already stressed guinea pig. If you take your animal here, --- DO NOT LET IT OUT OF YOUR SIGHT.--- I have been a GP owner for 18yrs. My oldest guinea pig is currently just over 8yrs old. I have seen every exotics vet within 100 miles. I know what I am talking about.

I take my cats here, and my ferrets (before i started making the trip to the lake oswego specialist) and I have always enjoyed my trips. They are very knowledgable and kind to you and the wait is pretty small. For not being a ferret specialist they at least knew basics and could monitor my boys' health and notice anything odd!! The prices were definatly fair (I only paid 160$ for 2 male ferrets getting distemper and rabies as well as the 'first exam') which i felt was fair. I have a very small salary to begin with but I can still afford to bring my pets in every year with them, and feel good about it. I recommend them, the wait time is usually short (less than a week) every time i've placed an appointment.
