ALL OF THE STAFF HERE ARE TRUE ANIMAL LOVERS. THEY ARE GENTLE AND KIND AND TRULY CARE.I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY PETS HERE SINCE IT OPENED AND NEVER HAVE I HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM . DR. JONES IS THE BEST AND SO ARE ALL OF HER ASSOCIATES.WHEN MY GOLDEN BROKE HIS KNEE THEY WANTED TO BE AS LITTLE INVASIVE AS POSSIBLE BUT STILL FIX BUDDY UP. IT TOOK TWO SURGERIES BUT DR. JONES DID THE SECOND ONE FREE OF CHARGE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY ONE. JOAN MCKINNON

We already had a regular vet when our dog had a random nosebleed while at the PetSmart Groomers and ended up with Dr.Sherry next door taking care of her. I left the clinic after that unscheduled visit knowing that we were changing vets to Thickson Road. We have only been patients for a short while but in that time, we have gotten a puppy that they have taken such wonderful care of and given much needed advice on, have had to say goodbye to our oldest that the team helped us through with compassion, and figured out how to get our 9 year old arthritic senior up, moving and enjoying life again. Moving to Thickson Road has been the best decision we have made for our pets.

Staff is great. I"m less than thrilled about the prices - very high and tend to charge for everything. My pet has a recurring injury and from time to time, I must take my pet into the clinic. In doing so, it seems like it costs me $100 per visit and they want to come every week in order to properly clean things up. having called around, many clinics due a recheck after a waiting period of so many days. As nice as the people are, it's time i go to a fairer vet who understands that a recheck is just that. I will be switching vets the first chance I get.

We bring our two dogs here, ever since we started coming in 2005 we have been extremely pleased every visit. Our animals are always well cared for by the knowledgable staff that go above and beyond for the well being of our pups. I strongly recommend this clinic for any of your pets needs. They can even assist with a dietary plan for those animals that are older and less active. (Our boy is lazy and loves to eat) the space is always safe and clean for our dogs and they feel comfortable with the staff. If you are looking for quality care and knowledgable vet/vet techs this is the clinic to choose!

The vets, vet techs, and office staff at Thickson Road truly care about our dogs. They are well informed about almost anything I've researched or heard about online, and if they for some reason don't know, they always investigate for me. Since the clinic first opened, we have had four dogs as clients at TRPH. All of the vets we've seen there have been knowledgeable, compassionate, gentle, and nonjudgmental (we feed a raw diet and opt for holistic care when possible). At TRPH, over the years, our dogs have undergone surgeries to remove tumours and teeth, had dental cleanings, gotten shots, received acupuncture treatments, and had abscesses drained, ear infections treated, nails clipped, and many other procedures. With three dogs currently, we visit almost regularly for one thing or another (often as a result of my over-concern for my dogs' well-being). We've never had complications of any sort, and I've always felt confident that my dogs are in good hands.

Today the wonderful staff at this hospital helped me say goodbye to my 18 year old dog with compassion and understanding. Zoe had been a patient there for almost all of her life. We were always greeted and spoken to kindly. The veterinarians there were thorough and always explained what was needed and why and never pushy. They got us through dental surgeries, minor upsets and major upsets always calling a few days later to check on Zoe and her progress. I want to thank all the staff there for everything they did for all of us. They know how difficult it is on pawrents when their furry children are sick and take care of us as well. Thank you all. I so recommend your clinic and staff to everyone I know and don't know for the best treatment. care for their pets

We have an older cat, who is quite set in his ways, as people get in age. He was taken in with our new kitten, who unfortunately brought fleas to our house. The vet was great. She was gentle with both and let the two of them explore and become comfortable with the environment. They prescribe a medication and completely informed me of options for cheaper if I wanted. The staff took great interest in each and every animal that came in the clinic that day which I payed attention to. I brought the kitten in to be neutered and they gave me a call at work so I knew he was okay when it was over and eating and in good spirits, as the girls knew I was so worried about him. They take great pride in their service and I wouldn't go anywhere else. THANKS!!!

Very disappointed. I went here in an emergency situation because it had high ratings under previous vets, but I think the staff has changed. My 18 y.o. cat was in a crisis--wasn't eating, anorexic, and crashing. The vet, Sherry Ahluwalia, said she was already old, *probably* had chronic kidney disease, but never did any blood tests to diagnose what exactly was wrong. She didn't encourage me to try anything, and handed me a packet on euthanasia before I left. She said since the cat was 18 she had lived a long life, and that she had never had a cat live longer than 16. My cat completely crashed a couple days later and had to be euthanized. Later I learned there are vets who will encourage trying some treatments, IV fluids, stimulants, etc. and that cats can bounce back. This vet didn't encourage doing anything at all, just decided, based on age and crashing, that she had lived long enough. I should have gotten a second opinion. I won't be going to this vet again.

Wonderful staff and all three vets have always been thorough and caring . I have two dogs with rare conditions and they have all been great with helping explain things I needed. I take all my pets there and thank all the staff and vets for taking the time to care it means a lot .

Staff is fantastic. All three Vets are amazing. No complaints with this clinic! They've even lowered some of their fees! Always have tests results in a flash, calls are always promptly returned. If staff doesn't know something, they'll find out and get back to you. These people care about your pet!

We just switched to Thickson Rd Pet Hospital because I was not satisfied with my former vet. Dr. Jones was amazing! She listened to my concerns and asked what I wanted her to do to help my pup. Then Dr. Jones was on it like lightening to get everything set up for us. My pup has a condition that is not overly common and Dr. Jones even did some research before we came in to make sure she was up on the latest information. I was very impressed and I can't thank her enough!

Initial visit was good, staff was pleasant and helpful. A little pricey but in line with the area. Received a follow-up survey about the hospital, which shows to me they are concerned with their customers and how to make their service better.

The reason why I went there, is because of this website and the ratings it got. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. I found Dr. Brain Steele to be very thorough and friendly unlike some other vets. Would recommend others to go there.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! The doctors are very compassionate and understanding of each of my pets needs (I have 2 cats and 2 dogs). The clinic is always clean and accomadating. I always feel welcome going there and when I call for help or with a question they never make me feel stupid. I love the staff there.
