Dr. Ashley B. is awesome. I had recently moved from Alberta to the Island. One dog had a sore pad on paw and the other one has history of dental issues, red gum on back tooth. Dr. Ashley was so observant she found the start of ear infection in the lab and also some preventative ideas for the older dog. Really love the preventative approach before the problems become painful and a big issue for the dog. Thank you Dr. Ashley Bernauer and Debbie and staff for the warm welcome and the excellent care of my fur kids.

I tried to get in to four different veterinary clinics after travelling hours with my sick dog from our cabin...every vet was too busy, and suggested I visit the emergency clinic in Nanaimo. I called Dr. Ashley Bernauer's office and spoke with the receptionist (Debbi), so kind and understanding, she explained they were fully booked up, but because of my situation they wouldn't turn me away. From the moment we walked in we were treated curtious and compassionately by all the staff. Dr. Ashley saw us and examined our daschund, prescribed us medication, and even examined our second dog all included just in case our second dog started getting the same symptoms. Cost was way less than what I would have paid in the Okanagan. Proffesional doctor and staff. I highly recommend this vet, your loving pet will be in good hands. Ginger and Tikka Thank you ??

I do not recommend this clinic based on the rude and unprofessional treatment I received from the receptionist Debbie.
