We have been clients for 25 yrs. The quality of the professional knowledge and skills of Dr. Peggy and her entire team along with the genuine sense of caring about our pets and us has provided us total confidence in the care received throughout the lifetimes of our pets - golden lab lived to 16yrs, Australian shepherd lived to 12yrs, beautiful tabby lived to 16yrs, and current rat terrier mix who is 15yrs! All had/have complicated health issues which were well managed by this team who also demonstrated the most appreciated emotional support to us. Their strict standards for welfare of the animals, clients, and respect for their own staff have also been clearly demonstrated by their enforced COVID-19 protocols. We have complete trust in their services.

The Chippawa animal Hospital cares about your pet. My dog needed to go see a specialist in Toronto. I don't drive. My vet took the time to drive myself and dog to her appointment. I have been a client for many years. This act of kindness doesn't surprise me. They truly have their hearts in the right place for caring for your pet.If you need an appointment they fit you right in. They listen to you and they always take the time to explain things and answer all your questions. The vets, the RVTs and all other staff are great. thank you so much.

I was worried about my dog s breathing and had the vet check his heart. Was told it was fine. One month later I had my dog at an orthopedic surgeon who listened to his heart as part of our apt. She heard a murmur and skip and sent me to a cardiologist the next day. The cardiologist tells me my dog has stage 3/4 heart disease :(. Heart disease doesn't appear and progress within one month so the vet at this clinic completely missed my dogs ver serious heart issues.

I've been going to Chippawa Animal Hospital for years & I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. They explain what they can do and let me choose what works for me and my pet. Last year I got a deal where I could make payments on the stuff my pets get done every year and I got some free visits and stuff with that too. This year I couldn't believe it when they handed me a card with a phone number on it to reach the vet after hours! They care about my animals and I care about that!! charlene arsenio

I have been taking my animals to this clinic since 1985. They have only had the BEST of care. They might be a little pricier than others, but, after checking around for prices and care for a spaying. I would not go anywhere else. I have even had after hours care in an emergancy. If there was one complaint it would be the waiting to see the veterinarian. I think they might over book sometimes.

This vet overcharges and doesn't listen to their patients. I had a dog vaccinated at another clinic and they would not except the certificate and insisted I revaccinate! They take advantage of people who are concerned about their pets and rake em over the coals!!

Dont go here....unless you want to be ripped off. Firstly they didnt book me properly...I was told it was ok to get a check up and grooming with my cats on the same day...I get there and was told I could only do the check up and that they never do both on the same day.Then I am told that the stool sample I was told to bring in when I called and confirmed the appointment wasnt covered in exam fee...this was only the beginning.They wanted to overcharge me in so many ways!I understand that blood work or other services are extra...but not when I am tricked into doing all this extra stuff that I wasnt even interested in doing!They were even going to charge me $7 for the`sample`of cat toothpaste..something that was given in their welcome package..you would assume its free!Nope there was a charge on my bill.I walked in expecting to pay the $97 for each cat plus the $40 trim..before we even started they had my one cat at $350..before tax..without the trim!Needless to say..I walked out!!!
