When you book an appointment for something like a rabies shot - rather specific - to be told 10 days later that is NOT what was done & it cost a disabled SENIOR $159,is unconscionable. Buyer beware. They will EUTHANIZE your fur baby because they DO NOT LISTEN. One needs more space to really tell the tale.

The best vet!! Derek is so friendly, down to earth. Made calls at home to check on my dog after she had a stroke. Their fees are amazing. I will never leave this clinic.

Dr. Stevenson and Dr. de Haan are the best Vets I have ever had for my dogs, and they and their staff are very friendly and caring. My dog Lucy has had a complete recovery from an injury she had and from what I thought was Canine cognitive dysfunction. She will be thirteen on Jan 23 and now she's racing around like a puppy. She could not jump or run around before and seemed confused and wandered around aimlessly. She was put on an anti inflammatory and pain killer and improved within a few weeks and is now completely recovered and off her medicine for 8 weeks. They don't do expensive unnecessary test either when the know what the problem is!

wonderful people Doctor Matt is a very special person. My dog died 2 years ago I still miss her, when I ask Dr Matt about the situation he always tries to help in some way.They take very good care of the dogs after death. Thank you all of you.

Dr. Derek is a wonderful and kind doctor. He has looked after our dogs for many years. Great clinic!

We are very fortunate to have Matt and Derek as vets for our dogs. We moved from Orono 7 years ago, but wouldn't consider going anywhere else. No matter what the issue, they are helpful, respectful, caring and compassionate. They listen well, and take the time to do research when the issue is not immediately clear. If you love your animals and care about their well being, these guys should be your vets.

Absolutely the best I've been to. They are more than reasonable. B Animal Clinic in Whitby quoted $1300 (then $700+, after they got charity assistance!!) for a job Orono did for $600, no assistance. I find cats are harder to take to the Dr than dogs. My cats come out much better than when they go in! They seem much more relaxed as time goes by. Cats & car rides will always be difficult; you can't control that. This vet is up there in the top, especially for value. Even the toys, treats, and food they have for sale is half the cost of the stores! Kongs, everything, I was shocked. Five stars, all around.

A really good vet office. Staff very friendly. My dog is not good with vets and starts to shake when she gets near the door. Although she is a vary gentle calm dog, I cannot even hold her still when being examined. When I told my vet that, he was good enouph to actually walk outside and examine my dog in the parking lot which worked out well. That is going above and beyond in my books. They are caring loving people at this office. I can't say enouph abaout them. I highly recommend them.

I have gone to other clinics in the area over the years but once I was reccomended to Orono I would never go anywhere else. Dr.s De Haan and Stephenson have been wonderful with my pets over the last several years. Recently my 7 year old chihuahua became very ill and though her outcome is not good, the care and attention this Dr. De Haan has provided over the last 2 weeks is outstanding. I can't thank him enough for all the time he has spent trying to make her better. This place has only proved to me again that it's not all about the money, that they truly care about the animals well being. :0)
