Dr.McKeegan is wonderful, had multiple negative experiences with her staff unfortunately, one time i walked in to aquire flee medication, the assistant asked me my phone number then informed me that my account would be terminated immediately, shocked I said "why?, she said one of my cats had not been there in 3 years, i told her that cat had passed away years ago, she walked away into a room near by, very snappy judgement which was also observed multiple times in the years following, sad to say.

It is always a balance between doing everything you can for your animal and weighing the cost. I believe that these vets use their experience to make the best judgement call at the same time not preforming overly cautious and expensive tests. No matter how good you are you don't get it right all the time. These are human beings not gods. I think they do a great job, and are not over reactionary. If money is no object, then just clearly tell them you want to do whatever tests may help, they won't tell you no. The vet techs make all the difference here. I feel like they love my pet as much as I do. I also like that Sheena talks to my dog more than me:) He is the patient, and he is the one I want her to be concerned with - not me. It may not be pretty, but I am pretty sure the dogs don't care, and it certainly does not change the level of care received.

I have been bringing my dogs to Nor-Ont for years and I always recommend them to anyone I've spoken to. Dr McKeegan and Dr Armstrong, along with the knowledgeable, competent staff are amazing. They have always been very professional, caring and considerate to myself and my pets each and every time I have been there or have called with any concerns. In times of emergencies, they have always gone out of their way to try and accommodate as best they can. If it was not for their quick thinking and doing emergency surgery on one of my girls, I would have lost her. I will always be grateful for what they did for my girl. The Dr's and Staff's immediate concern for my dog as well as the compassion they showed me during that stressful time went above and beyond the norm. Hat's off to Nor-Ont and their Staff.

Absolutely awful!! I would never go back and would recommend no one ever go to these people. Yes they are cheap but there is a reason for that. I brought my puppy to get spayed. They muzzled her 3 times for no reason, a 6 month old puppy growling (with me holding her head) because she had a thermometer up her butt is NOT a reason. They were not personable at all, they were very rude to both of us and they had NO professional mannerism! The vet did not introduce himself to me or her and did not tell me the details of the surgery. They sedated her in the room without asking me because she didn’t want to leave my side (if she had a heart condition or any other medical complications they could have killed her right then). After all of this the vet decided it would be best if I walked her back to the crate myself. After picking her up they sent me home with no pain medications, no cone and no checkup call. Amamzing, affordable and compassionate care of all my pets. I've been going there for years and would be lost if they ever closed---please stay with us, we need someone like you guys who care about the animals and not just the $$$

I have been using this clinic for years. I have had to use other vetinary services for Emergency care and all I have to say is Nor-Ont stay in business please!This clinic is all about providing the best care they can for your pet/family member. The cost is reasonable, unnessecary procedures are not done,recommended treatments are explained well and good quality care is provided. I have recommended Nor-Ont to friends and co-workers. All reports back have been good. A vet and staff who care! Keep up the good work.

this vet 100% missed diagnosed my dog with an upset stomach, selling me antique medication charging me 400 buck and call me in the morning if he's not well. The next day at my vet in espanola, my dog required emergency surgery for a blockage in his intestines. Yeah Noront was great!! Great if your working on cadavers..!!!

Although I spent alot more money then I initially anticipated the work and dedication that Dr. McKeegan did to save my cat was more then I expected from veterinary. She was honest and straight forward.
