Prince George Veterinary Clinic charges 2.5 times more for a burial or cremation than ANY of the other clinics in Prince George, BC. Why is that???

The scheduling at this place is horrible. They called 2 hours before my scheduled appointment because an emergency came in, which was fine for me, so I rescheduled the appointment to 3 days later. Then, one day before my appointment, they called again and left a message asking if I can reschedule the appointment from 5:30pm to 4:45pm because something went wrong with the scheduling. So I called back and said sure I can do 4:45pm. The girl was so rude and said since I called back so late, the spot was taken. I told her that I am fine with keeping my 5:30pm appointment, and she said "no vet will be here at that time". So they have decided to cancel my appointment without letting me know. The staff was very rude and did not apologize for once. I have decided to transfer the file to a more organized clinic with better customer service.

My dog eas diagnosed with an ear infection and prescribed drops. I asked for the prescription and was told I had to fill it at their pharmacy. I paid $50 for a bottle of ear drops and found out that I had purchased Garasone drops which potentially cause deafness. I went to a regular pharmacy and asked for the price of the same drops and was told $6.80. I didn't even use the drops but wound up purchasing polysporin! This is price gouging and I was disgusted with the rudeness of the staff and the poor prescribing of the vet.

Took my dog in for kennel cough vaccination. They slapped on a $58.00 examination fee although he was in just 2 months ago for exactly that. The exam took 20 seconds!! As per the general comments, these people are only after your money. What a disgusting setup.

Third cat in a row that had died quickly and painfully under this vet. Turns out to be feline leukima. The second cat that died the vet said--"pale gums, anemic, poor heart, kidney problems.- could be any of 4 things all very serious and fatal" She did not ask do you have other cats in the house--if so & if feline leukima it could also be at risk. So 2 monthS after losing our second cat, we took the 3RD younger cat in for vacinations. This younger cat, who appeared perfectly lively, then took very sick and died triggred from the vaccinations. The verdict was feline leukima for the third cat and by extension, all 3 dead cats. We are reeling. Go on line and it says plainly cats can infect each other and possbily infected cats should not be vacinated. In my opinion I would still have the 3rd cat running around if this vet had asked about other cats and not vacinated when it was contra-indicated. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET.

Was new in town and was recommended this clinic to take my dog to for a 2nd booster shot that was recommended. The staff lacked manners, vet was unimformative and showed limited knowledge, and my young Border Collie mix was given the wrong dosage and had gone through a duration of suffering (both for me and for her...) before she died as a result. The incidence was denied and no acknowledgement or apology was made. Like several others have noted, this clinic holds zero compassion for its clients and focuses only on financial gain.

Just started going to this vet, and will never return or give any sort of good recommendation toward them. In the past month I have had both my dogs in the vet numerous times, and no answers, not even a test done! Each time its a different vet, and all they do is give more and more medicine, which isn't doing anything, and me another bill. I brought in my puppy for his last set of shots, which he got sick after a week of getting them, and then my older, but much smaller dog, got sick aswell. No explanation as to why, no tests done for either dogs, just keep being told to try a new medicine and if it doesnt work come back, and continue to get charged for each time! This place DOES NOT care about your animals, all they care about is making money. My smaller dog was so scared being in there, every other vet he has been to he's been so happy and never anxious, because those vets always made a relationship with him. This place is just awful, and the service from the staff, just as bad!

The facilities at Ospika are nice but the staff are always rude and not very friendly, usually the amount they say an appt is going to be will actually end up being double. Beware of their "fees" it is a cash grab sometimes. It disgusts me because they take advantage of loving pet owners.

I am surprised by the negative comments I have read. This doesn't sound like the clinic I know. We have used the Ospika Clinc(formerly All-mobile)for many years, for three dogs and a cat. We have always found the staff friendly, compassionate, and professional.

their service seemed good to me but the initial estimate was under $500 and the final bill mushroomed to well over $1000 partly because of some diagnostic add-ons that were not explicitly approved by me, leaving me feeling a bit overcharged, so they really should communicate very clearly with the owner before ramping up the bill that much

This clinic is terrible. No love for your pets just your Visa.My dog had an emergency c section wich needed to be done. They would not do until they were paid first. The dr who performed the c section afterwards put the placenta back inside my dog for added nutrients wich her colleague vets and my new vet said is unheard of.She put staples in wich were so loose they fell out the same night.1hour after the surgery they called insisting we take home our dog n pups. The staff were so cold and rude to us when we were very upset and in tears over our dog.Now we are at the College Heights vet. He's amazing loves the animals.Amazing vet.My dog loves her new vet.If your in Prince George avoid Ospika Vet Clinic especially with 2 great choices like College Heights Vet and Murdochs. Both are about the love of your pets, over the love of your Visa

I feel appt, time should be punctual as anxiaty can be uncomfortable for both owner, pet ,vet.In concern involving staff most of the staff are good with exception of a few I believe there should be more compassion towards the owner and pet.The facilities are well kept but I think they should have a seperate room for when you have to put a loved one to sleep .The reason I bring this up is I speak from first hand exp,.we had a beautiful Germ/husky cross we addopted fr SPCA who won our hearts KELSEY was very depressed had cut herself of food ,tail hanging down between her legs ,head hanging down, due to prev owner not being able to keep her ,it took my hubby and I a lot of love time energy devotion for her to regain trust. In 2009 due to a terrible injury our BEloved family pet was put to sleep ,juring the time we waited for the appt we were left outside in the cold as all the rooms were taken up so I feel there should be a room just for that Thank you Mrs Lapointe
