I feel extremely comfortable with my doctor and the staff. I feel that they will go the extra mile for my babies and THAT means the world to me!

If you decide to go here- DR PLUNKETT is definitely the doctor to see :) He's young, aware of owners budgets and emotions, and won't do unnecessary tests on your pet. He is very kind and understanding, and the techs too. They all care very much. Make sure you definitely get an appt with him!

I want to thank the staff and Dr.Plunkett for all their patience and kindness while my cat was ill. It was a tough time and they understood what I was going through and of course my lovely cat. Just like with people in our lives, our parents, children, husbands, wife, we must research everything to get the right care for them. We have to be educated so we can discuss the problems and in this case with our pets and their respective doctors. I again thank kind Dr.Plunkett and the Staff. Andrea

Money hungry. I brought my 14 yr old yorkie for dental work. They said we needed several tests to make sure he could be sedated. Was told xray showed he had an enlarged heart and needed a body scan, but he should be OK for dental surgery. $Thousands later was told scan showed no enlarged heart. I asked why the different finding and was told xray is not conclusive. Chronic cough started after sedation. Didnt know why, but they needed to run more tests. Told them I already paid a lot of $ and needed to wait a while before I went further. After a few months with the cough, I called them back. Dr. again said my dog has a heart problem!! I took him to a different vet who said he has no heart problem. Also said cough was probably from scratched trachea when the sedative tube was inserted during dental surgery. Now my dog has a cough he didnt have before, and still spending $$ trying to cure him. At least the new vet isnt running unnecessary tests that Syosset wanted to to. MONEY HUNBRY!

they were wrong about my dog also, the original owner was great, knew what he was doing but the doctors they have there now are only interested in how much money they can make--be careful when dealing with them--if it is only for regular shots they are okay but if anything is wrong with your pet go somewhere else
