We have been taking our pets to this clinic almost since they opened. Some years ago, our cat developed diabetes. Thanks to the skill and caring of the doctors and vet techs, and lots of moral and practical support, we were able to manage our pet's diabetes for three years and give her a good quality of life. They even made house calls when necessary (at very reasonable prices) to help reduce her stress. When we finally had to make the difficult decision to have her euthanized, we again got lots of support and were able to have this done in our home so she would suffer the least trauma in her final hours. Thank you all for that. Needless to say, when we adopted another cat, that's exactly where we take him. By following their advice over the years, we have a happy, healthy 12 year-old cat. We would certainly highly recommend them. We had been to other vets before, but they stood out. Yes, their prices have gone up somewhat over the years, but what hasn't?

What a great experience. It was my first appointment and my dog and I couldn't have left happier. All of the staff, vet techs and the doctor were welcoming and knowledgeable and made me and my dog very comfortable. The initial exam was very reasonably priced and quite thorough. Would recommend this vet to anyone.

run.... 1st surgery for a spay only for the dog to run into complication due to internal stitches did not hold at all... 2nd surgery to repair the Vet's mistake. Charged me over $5,000. 2nd surgery should have been free due to their mistake. Result of the dog being under Anastasia and Drama of 2 surgeries in 1 week - the side affect is now seizures.. The Vet does not accept any responsibilities for their mistakes. Sad news after a couple of months the seizures have gotten worst and I had to put my girl down - All because of their lack of knowledge - their Vet license should be removed... No one should experience the lost of a young dog...

Overcharge. This clinic knows they have you where they want you. I recommend you go somewhere else.

Took my cat there on friday with constipation.They took 2 xrays and had to perform an enema. He stayed over night and was sent home the next day after they said he had a bowl movement. I was never shown the xrays that they took and only went on their word. Brought my cat home and gave prescribed medication and he never had bowl movement. on Sunday had to take him to the emerg vet clinic and they actually showed me the xrays and he was severely constipated it was very visible. had to keep him over night there and maybe another day not sure yet. It is now Monday and yorkwood still hasn't called to see how my cat is they never even did a follow up xray after they said he finally had a poop. Also saw 3 different vets over a day and a half period I would never go back to that office again!!

I was very disappointed on our first visit to this clinic. The vet only checedk his teeth after I asked him to do so. Then, after I mentioned how I could see that my dog's joints were a little stiff and that how the dog walker had comment on his gait, the Vet pushed for some meds after a minimal examination . In another occation, I inquired about dog grooming and a very rude lady at the reception told me that the groomer needed to make a decision on whether or not she wanted to groom him.. I understand that the groomer may want to review the chart before committing, but I think that the way it was stated was rude and poor choice of words were used; It's not like I was asking them to groom a lion. Never again.

These days vets glitz up their offices and think you have a limitless credit card. So, I was pleasantly surprised that I could get a same-day appointment here, and the receptionist gave me the cost of an office visit on the phone. I was even more impressed that the doctor gave me options and prices of medications, with a sense of genuine concern for the cat. There was no surprise when paying and I think this is worth far more than leather chairs in the waiting room.

I have used Yorkwood Veterinary clinic for 15 plus years and have gotten the best service and care for my animals from them. They have the most caring staff and Vets that i have ever met i would never go anywhere else. They have also givin me and my family the best comfort and support when we have lost our dear pets. I always recommend them to people and always will. J.G

I have been going to this clinic since I moved to the area. I have always had great experiences with the staff and veterinarians there. I was disappointed to see that there were negative reviews of the clinic. They have always done their very best to help my animals (and me) over the years. They have been very kind and supportive during difficult times, and you can see that the staff cares about the animals and the owners. They are not the cheapest clinic in the area, but remember sometimes you get what you pay for!!! I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

When the clinic first opened we took all our animals there and were quite satisfied. For the past few years, the prices have just kept climbing higher. My last visit was very upsetting when I had to put my Pom down. Though it was quite obvious I was distressed, they kept demanding the money up front..When I paid, I was shocked at how much I was charged for putting a 6lb animal to sleep. There was no compassion and I have not returned since..!!

The made a mistake during surgery on my dog and charged me the initial surgery and then charged the second surgery where the proof of error was there. Tried to get me to put another pet through surgery to compensate for behaviours at home. After i approached them in this error they advised me not to continue using their service and proceeded to almost push me to make a formal complaint and wanted nothing to do with me or my dog

my dog had obstruction surgery...the staff are very caring and compassionate. When tucker did come home, they called daily to check on him.

Staff friendly but push vaccines and products without informing clients of all costs. Waiting for vet in small cramped room with no seating for more than 15 minutes and then charged for the privilege. Different vets-- no consistency.

A lot of vet turnover, continuity betw care is lacking.Often hires vets out of school w little to no experience. Good Techs-- sometimes more experienced than new vets who need more supervision. Prices quoted for simple procedures very high. No ultrasound or laser.The primary vet owner is very good but not always available
