I wouldn’t suggest this vet. Our experience: Purchased puppy plan, when arrived for second appointment for needle ( they were already paid for as is included in puppy plan ) we were 14 minutes late for our appointment, nurse exclaims that she will have to check with vet she returns to say that the vet left @ 6:15 at this point in time it was 6:14 she responded to that with the vet is in the parking lot, getting in her car and leaven. I called in Friday to book needles & also that my dog wasn’t herself, energy wise, digestion wise. The dog was in need of seeing a doctor which obviously wasn’t much concern. It is the winter session so a little curtesy would’ve been appreciated as we were only 14 minutes behind & the appointment was already paid. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Elmwood Vet is where I will be going from now on. The vet there was shocked as they didn’t even call to ask if we were still coming. Life does happen! Hope NOONE has the same experience with there fur babies! So sad

Had to put our dog down in Aug.Everything was to go as planned but didn't..Dr.Poirier was not professional in the way she handled it.So put a complaint in with the register.He called her,she called us and said she was sorry,didn't know why it happened that way.I lost time from work,and physical abuse for my husband.what an experience....we never received a call or card from the vetcare..I recently saw Dr.M.Poirier at subway,she saw me never said anything....We were very disappointed in the way she handled things.I see that this vet has a good rating...but seriously in our books it sucks...We will never go back to this vet,cause of the way we're treated...Just want to make the awareness for other pet owners....maybe think twice...

I have had the pleasure of bringing my cat to them over the past year as I felt like my previous vet cared more about getting paid then the health of my baby. I woke up one day and my poor girl had broken out in a whole bunch of sores, I called and they got me right in to get her looked at, turns out she was having an allergic reaction. they quickly gave her some injections and helped me decide what was the best course of treatment for her, turns out it was just food allergies and thanks to them my baby is now happy and healthy, Thank you very much Dr. Chong. I also just adopted a new little guy into our and not to long after getting him I noticed he was not a happy healthy puppy like I hoped, but he had diarrhea and itched a lot. Thanks to the staff I was able to determine he had fleas and worms, treatment was given :) And lastly he needed some baby teeth removed and Dr. DrMac did an amazing job reassuring me he was in good hands. Love these vets and their staff. **2 Thumbs Up**

I have had the oppurtunity to bring my dogs to Dr Chong & Dr Drmac over the past 2 years, and have had nothing but positive experiences. They go above and beyond and I know they care about my dogs health as much as I do :) I will always appreciated how much they've done for my babies!

went there for an emergency which resulted in euthanasia but Dr. Drmac was absolutely wonderful! Compassionate, caring, concerned - I found myself almost comforting him, instead of the other way around. As sad as I am, I was impressed with this man and his manner. Thank you so much - I shall be back.

Our visit with Dr. Drmac was the best experience we had at any veterinary hospital, ever. Our dogs had a great time too- lots of treats and positive distraction. The exam, diagnostic tests and treatments were completed with ease, while our dogs had a great time at Vetcare. We found a knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian, friendly staff and a great new hospital in Riverview. Highly recommended.

As someone who has multiple pets and has been to many vets I have to say I never before saw a vet hug the animal as he examines him and my pets love him. Dr. Miro Drmac (male vet) seems to truly love animals and he offers you both sides of the coin. He advised that my 16 yr old kitty shouldn't have his teeth cleaned at his age, too risky, and offered me another option. He also offered a shot of antibiotics as opposed to pills for his owie so he doesn't get stressed by us pilling him (something he hates). One shot versus a week of us pinning him down and shoving a pill down his throat, I appreciate that and so did he :). The other vet I went to wanted to do the cleaning for $300...I was out in just under $100....and trust me...money is no object when it comes to my big boy! I like Kraft Dinner....lol

Truly caring family practice; Drs Chong & Dhrmac put the animals first and are also humane to the the people who are their clients. This is a new practice, but the vets are experienced ones who worked for another clinic before starting their own. The vet tech, Julie, really goes above and beyond the call of duty.
