Click to report rating    12/9/11   1     4     3     1   Returning to Baltimore, we needed a new vet. The location of BSAH was ideal. After a few visits, we found the staff to be friendly but a bit lax and the in-house tests were pretty expensive. Three visits in, we found we left each time with incomplete or inaccurate information. Changing vets. RID: 29720
Click to report rating    2/3/11   5     5     5     5   All the staff and Dr. Burbelo are very friendly and helpful, to both pets and their owners. We took our puppy here for all of his vaccinations, as well as his neuter surgery. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. We never had trouble parking. All of our appointments were very thorough, all our questions were answered, and they even helped us get our dog on a great diet and supplements. We recieve reminder emails about our puppy's heartworm and flea medications monthly, which are helpful. Follow-up calls always followed the day after his visits. When our puppy had a poor reaction to a vaccination, the staff was incredibly understanding & helpful (even though it wasn't their fault). Dr. Burbelo even called me personally & gave me his cell phone, with advice to help our puppy with his pain. Our puppy's neuter went much better than I expected: he was in good spirits, had been taken on a walk by a staff member, and his suture is phenomenal & healing RID: 22552
Click to report rating    1/7/11   5     5     5     5   Dr Burbelo and staff are excellent! As first time puppy owners, his staff provided through information and tips on care and house training from knowledge and personal experience. Dr. Burbelo has a great rapport with his clients, and he has an holistically focused care philosophy that dips well past routine vaccinations, etc. and into the realm of what your puppy eats effecting his health and well-being, and that type of thing. Our puppy loved everyone at the office and they all loved him, helping to foster the "good experience" of going to see the doctor. Highly recommended! Thank you Dr. Burbelo and staff!! RID: 21861

Click to report rating    10/15/10   5     5     5     5   My wife and I will never be able to fully express our deep appreciation and thanks for saving the life of our wonderful dog, Barney. Our son, Kevin, was lost to an IED in Afghanistan last year. Shortly before his deployment, Kevin asked us to take care of Barney. Even now, Barney will run to the window every time a Mustang GT drives by our house. He never forgets the sound of Kevin’s car even though the sound never stops at our home. We had no idea what was wrong, just that Barney was in real pain. Dr. Burbelo told us that this was an emergency and to bring Barney in right away. Dr. Burbelo explained that he thought Barney's intestines had twisted; a very painful and often fatal condition. Barney needed surgery. Dr. Burbelo was so gentle with Barney that he remained very quiet but seemed to understand that everyone was there to help. Barney survived and in a few days was his old self. Barney is a living memory of our son. He means so much to us. Thank you Doctor. RID: 20323
