My bird just started feather plucking. Took him in to rule out medical causes. They put a coller on him which was too small. While there for care and boarding he tore himself seriously enough to need stitches. My $600 bill went up to over $1000 and he is now at risk. The vet seems to think that I am lucky that my bird was at her clinic so that she could do the suturing. Wow!
