dr mantel is head of practice. all dr's here are patronizing, obsessed with diagnostics, none of them listen to client or observe patient. I had a 5 yr old dog info routine spay, no complications, vomit immed post op, gagging, bile told didnt tolerate anesth took to emergency vet, no bloat, she suspected something esophogeal, back to dr mantels office. 2 wks daily visits, I kept saying it wasnt in her stomach etc dog was gagging couldnt swallow or eat, very painful, no temperature ultrasound, of her stomach, thousands of dollars, I finally took her to specialist VSEC. diagnosed within minutes, esophogeal strictures, extremely common, I was led along for my dollars, I show dogs, breed dogs and am a professional groomer. No one just observed and listened. this practice is awful. oh, and my beautiful, rahni, had to be euthanized, completely eroded her esophogus. 10k amount spent on care.
