First they mislead the price over the phone and grossly overcharged us. (They charged $170 for the exact same puppy shots and fecal check that the Hill Country Vet would have charged $65 for. The Wellness Plan was quoted as $99.99 over the phone, but was actually that plus $300... this was not mentioned or we would have gone elsewhere from the start.) Then the Veterinarian made my wife feel like an idiot for not knowing that you are supposed to pluck the hairs from a baby toy poodle's ears. He proceded to talk down to her the entire time about how aweful toy poodles are and how they are too much work. He told my daughter that kids drop puppies and she "better not drop him" in a very harsh tone... which made her cry. Overall this was an aweful overpriced experience and we will never go to another Banfield, ever. Frankly they are bad for PetSmart's business because they are located inside, they are associated with them. My wife doesn't even want to return to PetSmart now.
