My Girlfriend rushed our 5 year old tabby to the clinic, Diagnosed him with Crystals in his urine on New Years Eve 2021. Drove 2 1/2 hours to get to the clinic... Gave medications, and followed directions from vet and he passed away a week later. The one thing that makes me mad is that the vet tech that handed our cat back to my girlfriend did not give her the after care instructions for our cat. I didnt even want to give a star because quite frankly, they do not deserve any stars.

Phoned this vet about an issue my dog was having. Since they treated it before, I asked that she be prescribed with the same meds and special food that previously cleared it up. We agreed that her urine should be tested before they would dispense any meds.
I brought the urine in and they phoned back and said they wouldn’t dispense the meds until I brought her in for an exam. Total contradiction of what we had agreed on. When I protested and requested they at least reduce the cost of the unplanned exam, it took them days to come to a decision. Days of my pet being in discomfort. They finally suggested I find another vet.
Probably for the best. I will find another vet who cares for animals instead of their bank accounts.

Dr. Sheila Driver is an outstanding vet. She has a true connection with animals and cares deeply for their quality of life. I find her services very affordable and no unnecessary treatments. We drive up from Barrie to see her -- it's worth the drive. Wouldn't take my furry family members anywhere else

I have always had a great experience with Dr. Driver and her staff. She is very thorough and always lays out the pros and cons to any course of treatment we have discussed. She genuinely cares for animals and that is evident in her practice. We were able to get a medical condition under control that other vets had not. Even my cat likes her..that says alot!

Dr. Driver is professional, friendly and very good with animals. Her office staff are always friendly and willing to help with any concerns we may have. I've had vets in the past with lower prices, and like everything, you get what you pay for. Dr. Driver's prices aren't ridiculous, but on par with what you should pay for a good veterinarian. I am very happy with the level of care our dog has received from Dr. Driver.

I don't think people realize the expense it takes to run a facility! The money grab comments are hurtful as I been a client of Dr. Sheila's since she opened and have always found her to be outstanding and she is not capable of acting dishonest, it's just not in her. She is kind and compassionate and we are lucky to have her!

My husky was 15 years old when I moved to the area. Previous vets told me the tumor on her bum could not be removed due to her age. Dr Driver took the time to get to know her, realized she was a good candidate for surgery, set special guide lines for her surgery, and performed it with phenomenal success. My old girl recovered in no time and enjoyed the next 2 years of her life. The night she passed I arrived with her at 11:30PM, Sheila told me to take as much time as I needed with her, then after she was gone I was there until 1:00AM saying my goodbyes. She was so kind and gentle to both of us. She's a great doctor and is now treating my aging and ailing cat with the same care. I wouldn't consider taking my pets anywhere else.

Last reviewer obviously has an axe to grind. Have found this practice and the very compassionate vet everything one could hope for, right up to and including the inevitable passing of my dog. Even received calls after his death to check on how I was coping. The practice location is clean and inviting. The techs both past and present friendly and helpful. So happy to know this highly professional vet is available to this community.

Can't say anything nice about this one....mind you one of the vet tecks was great but she was fired, and all the ones prior that were great quit, what message does that send. Because I disputed an extra charge on my bill and wanted a refund I recieved a registered letter saying she would no longer treat any of my animals (and I rescue)Nice! She also knew that I have a cat that requires thyroid meds and they were due to run out. Guess she doesn't care about my animals health. Only about all the money she makes. Not to mention how rude she had been to me when I went there to question the charge, no customer respect there at all!!!

Sheila and her staff have always been terrific to my Buddy and I... and even more so when it came down to sending him to a more pain-free and happy ground. I will never forget them for their kindness, concern for my very good friend, professionalism and care.

When first opened it was the best but it seems that it has just become a money grab lately. I have walked out with huge bills as I was not given all the info into what I would be charged and when I asked all I got was an arguement, not sure that is how a customer should be treated. I have to wait in the room a minimum of 15 mins after the start of my appt, usually longer

Huronia animal hospital is the best! I know my animals are taken care of properly with the caring and informed staff working in a clean, inviting enviroment.

Dr. Sheila is the most considerate, knowledgeable and compasionate person on top of being a great doctor. That is immeasurable when the news is bad. Would not even consider taking my animals anywhere else.

I agree with the previous rating - Dr. Sheila is the best and so is her staff - I would recommend her highly to anyone the animinals come first with her always - iti immaculate and she covers everything - she will also help financially i.e. letting you pay ahead for a major surgery etc. - she is the greatest - thanks Dr. Sheila there should be more like you

I was very happy with the services here for many reasons. It is very very clean, Sheila Driver is a veterinarian that really loves animals and has that extra bit of love in her work, and the staff are very professional. In general my animals were relaxed and not stressed out and that goes a long way when visiting the doctor.
