We have been going to Abbey Animal Clinic for years. Dr. Rossborough has been our vet for all our animals. He is absolutely amazing! I trust him 100%. Would not hesitate to recommend this clinic.

Absolute Rip Off.... Receptionists are extremely rude and disrespectful. Not at all happy to assist you or listen to your concerns. It's an absolute money grab... Overcharge you for everything they can. Not pleased with their services and their prices. If you love your pets and your pocket book, choose a better clinic.... There are a lot out there.

Not sure why this place gets this bad rap about monetizing. I have always been given various alternatives for tests and procedures, not take this expensive route or else. I have had the vet give me free lengthy telephone consultations for pets they are familiar with. I've been to the cut-rate place without the latest equipment, not that clean, with vets who couldn't handle my cat because she isn't that friendly and hates going. I've never had any problems with her treatment at this clinic. If there's an emergency they fit you in within an hour. My cats get better care here than I do at the doctor's.

Very interested in monetizing each client. Vet competence variable. Indifferent to crisis situations...refer to another facility even when able to assist. Clearly a mercantile operation. Operates in a very wealthy demographic and charges accordingly.

We have been taking our dog here since we adopted him in 2013 from the Burlington SPCA. At first we really loved it. But today July 25th at 6:45pm we went in to book an appointment for his years shots and were greeted by "lets get your dog on the scale he's overweight" from there, we were laughed at and treated with such inconsiderate ignorance. Our dog is a mix breed of 4 dogs and they didn't even examine or touch my dog during this visit, however after saying "he's overweight" they kindly gave a treat to my dog..we have never been more insulted and treated so poorly anywhere yet alone an animal health hospital..I only recommend Dr. Sarah Bishop, she is wonderful.. The front desk people are very rude, inconsiderate and potty mouths..To have the nerve to laugh towards your client when there not educated is degrading and immature..THE FRONT RECEPTION desk is not very open minded and friendly, they made my decision easy on going to get a new vet..My friends and family are now moving vets

This clinic is VERY expensive. We've used it because of its short distance to home, but after taking our cant and dog there for years it is time to move on. They have consistently overcharged. The quality of care is inconsistent between the different vets. One dropped our dog on his face and broke his front teeth. They denied it and made us pay for the visit. Our dog had head trauma from it and had to be medicated and watched for days. Our dog hates that specific vet and she's even afraid of him now. In the file notes they have written have sometimes been rude and obnoxious, even contradicting each other on medical issues. Cat used to have bad asthma - at times I've used my ventolin for the cat in emergencies. The one vet agreed, another wrote in the notes "implausible even for the most open-minded". Guess he hasn't read up that Apo Salvent is documented to be used successfully in cats. In fact, it was my previous vet that recommended it. Will try out Walkers Line Vet Hospital!!

We have been blessed to have Abbey looking after our pet for the past 17 years. Dr. Adam Rossborough is our primary vet and we don't have enough good things to say about him. He is caring and compassionate with both our dogs and cats and understands them well. Recently when he was away, Dr. Hobson was there when our Giant Schnauzer developed toe cancer and gave her optimal care. Recently with the pallutive care of our 13 year old Giant schnauzer, both Dr's Rossborough and Hobson went above and beyond in their care of not only our loved pet but our family. The goodbyes were done at our home in the most caring and compassionate manner so that our other pets could realize what was happening. We have been blessed with excellent care from this practice and have healthy and long lived pets to show for it, thanks to all at Abbey Animal Hospital!

Good staff, but found the prices way too much especially compared to others.

Started going here because it was the cheapest place in town to get my cat neutered. The vet I usually see (Dr Bishop) is very nice, explains things to me and answers questions, and seems to genuinely care about my cat's health. I recently had a spot of unexpected trouble with my cat, and they've been able to see him the same day I call, provide me with different price options, and most importantly, get him all patched up.

Lovely staff and vets, very caring but sometimes a significant wait on appt. time and I find them very pricey for routine care.
