I’ve only met Dr. Butler once when I brought my 2 Caiques in for beak & nail trims. Next week I’ll be taking the 2 Caiques & my little dog too. I feel very comfortable with her & her staff.

I have a 7yr old sulcata tortoise. I have had him in there twice over the last few years. The knowledge and care given to Opo. Gave me confidence and peace of mind. That Opo was in good hands.I have just adopted a 10yr old female sulcata. I will definitely be taking her there for a checkup. Realize Opo is over 100lbs and can still be seen in office.

Our senior dog had an infected impacted nail and was having trouble walking. The vet did a thorough exam, fixed her toenail and we left with a much happier dog. She’s doing great so we can’t thank them enough for the tlc! Mike & Dolly Wheeler and patient, Nola

I have not write a review, but this time I have to voiced my opinion. I went to the Ark and Bark animals clinic was because it was near my house and the hours were convenient for those that had to work during the date. The first time I went there to have my 2 bunnies fixed and I was the first one there before all the other clients and they did the surgery my bunnies last. They didn’t call me to pick up my bunnies until almost midnight. Then the 2nd time I brought my dog there for an abscess and it need to be surgically removed. The same thing happened again. I was the second client and all the other clients after me and the vet did the same thing again. I didn’t get to pick up my dog until 12:30 midnight and I was the last client for the night. I told the receptionist that why was it that I was they did the surgery on my dog last again this time and she told me that “Dr Butler chose to do the surgery on whomever she want”. Then the last time that I took my dog there to have the stitch

I have an eclectus parrot that is a rescue parrot. When I got him from the rescue, his beak was yellow and very unhealthy. Dr. Butler filed it down, gave him an acrylic beak, and after about 2 months, the acrylic beak wasn’t needed anymore, because my birds beak was so strong and beautiful! I trust her doing all of our fur babies and feather babies, because she really is great at what she does!

I'm grateful for Dr. Debby and the crew. No words can explain my gratitude for the work and passion they have for our babies. I'm a proud parent of my female Quaker parrot Pickles. I love her deeply, Dr. Debby along with Marian saved my babies' leg. We have all the support system to a Full recovery. Can't wait to see my baby girl fully recovered.

I called asking for an emergency appointment. The girl on the phone said yes with 30min wait. I get in the room and no vet for another 30 minutes I go out tell her I have an emergency and she is petting a healthy well dog. my bun is getting worse. Finally she comes in and complains "Youre not my only patient" I brushed the rude comments off. And then it was time for the exam he starts pointing out obvious signs like he's not moving and acts like she needs to think about what to do says I need to stop crying because it's making it hard for her to think. Sits there petting him for a few seconds and I say I don't think he has eaten do you have critical care and she said yeah I do I'll send you home with some. SEND ME HOME WITH SOME HE NEEDS IT NOW! And then she says well I don't have a syringe. What kind of vet doesn't have a syringe? long story short. i took him home and he died in my arms minutes after getting home. every minute counts. don’t waste it on people who don’t care. - RP

The staff and service here is amazing. Ive been going here for about 4 to 5 yrs. First with my bird then my older Golden Retriever the whole staff was so caring throughout his whole medical issues. May he rest in peace.... and now with my new Golden Dade... I would and do recommend dr Butler & Staff to anyone... thanks Guys!

Dr. Butler is a one of a kind Vet.Compassionate, genuine, caring who I have been using for 18 years. She saved my cat who had a blockage. She is an excellent surgeon among her expertise with exotic animals as well as an avian.I cannot say enough for Dr. Butler who genuinely loves all kinds of animals.I recommend her highly. You won't be disappointed.

Dr Butler is the very best vet we have ever had. From giving our severely attacked older dog surgery and love to extend her life two years and the dignity and care when her last days arrived to the patience and kindness with our new very active rescue puppy. The office may run a little late at times, only because she takes her time to ensure your pet receives the attention that they deserve. I recommend her to everyone!!

I had a puppy we rescued and he ate something that blocked his system, he wouldn't eat for two days. Took him to the other vet that I won't mention and they had no clue what was wrong. He started pooping blood Friday eveing and I called a friend who recommended Dr Debbie Butler, I got an appt. for 11:00 that eveing and it took her a while to figure it out, but she was spot on. He needed surgery now, without hesitation she reached for him and said I'm going to take him into surgery, this is at 2:30 in the morning. She said he would not make through the weekend. I got a call at 4:30 that everything went ok, he had some complications but her love for animals is the only reason he is alive today. She worked extra hard to save his life, I know for a fact if I had not met her LJ my beloved puppy would not be alive. 8 days later he playing like a puppy should. Thank you Dr Debbie Butler for your persistence. From our hearts, me my wife and LJ love you and your commitment to patients. ??

Dr. Butler and her staff were awesome in providing care for my Allie. Her hours are convenient for working professionals like myself, and the cost is more than reasonable. The staff, Marianne and Brian are very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I am so grateful for the care Dr. Butler and her team provided to Allie and to me. You are the best. I wish I could give Dr. Butler and her staff a higher rating! I just got back from taking my sugar glider to them because of an abscessed tooth. Dr. Butler handles animals really well, is well informed, caring and kind. She truly cares about animals. I will recommend her to anyone I know that needs a vet!

I took our 5 yr. old male Lovebird to four other Vets in Brevard County prior to Dr. Butler. Although she is not an Avian BC Vet., she was able to diagnose and treat him better than the other Vets. She is thorough, gentle, compassionate and extremely knowledgable about Birds! I would highly recommend her!

Debby Butler and her staff at Ark-n-Bark has taken care of my 3 dogs, 3 cats, 10 parrots for more than 12 years now. There is not a better vet in the state as far as I'm concerned for any type of pet or animal. Her knowledge, gentleness and overall care for her clients are second to none. 10 stars

My cat had a small urethra...Dr Butler did the surgery, at the follow-up visit a couple of days later my cat was SO scared he blew out the anal glands and his catheter...Dr did NOT seem concerned...however a coue of days later I brought our cat to our normal vet and the urethra was even smaller than BEFORE the $825 surgery!!! Also we were NEVER explained as to what ALL was going to be done during the surgery...they removed his man parts completely...we were also NOT told what litter to use...hence we use clumping litter and the litter clogged the catheter!!! Overall just a BAD experience...STILL NO follow-up call to see how our cat is doing...Will NEVER suggest this vet to ANYONE!!!

Dr Debby Butler saved our 2 boxers Caymon & Clara from horrible bouts of worms as puppies.When it was time for them to be spayed and neurtered,Dr Butler and her Assitant Maryann, took extreme care during ther post op period.Clara developed some post op sensitivity to some medicines and I was able to get immediate help (during off hours)with phone calls and office visits.Clara helped Caymon out by licking his surgical wound open despite both dogs wearing surgical cones! Caymon required urgent re-suturing and with Dr Butler's creative thinking to prevent another licking attack from his mate, she made protective "surgical pants" out of a pillow case which prevented licks and re-opening of the wound.Its very evident she and her staff love what they do! Thank You Dr. Butler and Staff and God Bless!!

I am very thankful for Dr. Butler and her staff. They are all very knowledgeable about animals and caring. Dr. Butler is like an old fashioned country doctor, which I really appreciate. She knows her stuff, and doesn't have to work out of an expensive pretentious facility to prove that. If you love paying for the upkeep of an overbuilt, overequipped operation then this isn't the place for you. If you want good, old fashioned loving care for your pet then you've found a hidden gem in Dr. Butler.

Best vet in the state! We love her. She is very compassionate. e use her for all our animals. e make a long drive to see her. Her hours are perfect, prices very reasonable and everyone really cares about the animals. She is great with emergencies. Great with surgeries. She has done several c-sections on some of my dogs. hey went very well. She has saved a few of my dogs with serious illnesses.

WOW! I was amazed! Not just the vet was caring toward the animals, but the entire staff! I am very new to raising chickens and honestly, am clueless, but several staff members saw my desire to learn and took the time to teach me things, WITHOUT JUDGEMENT! And I LOVE the evening hours! The cost was so fair! (maybe more fair for me, than her! considering all the extras she did and education!) Fantastic! My dogs will soon be introduced to her! If you have exotics or standard pets, you can't go wrong here!

Dr Butler and her staff are amazing! I recently adopted an Umbrella Cockatoo from a neglectful home and went directly to their office for a check up. I knew very little about these amazing animals and Dr Butler took over an hour teaching me how to handle him, feed him, break him of some bad habits and basically just learn to love him. She clipped his wings, filed his nails and beak and even bathed him! If it weren't for her, I would have been very nervous with this bird. He hadn't been held or loved for a long while and was a bit timid. Using what Dr Butler taught me, I easily became comfortable handling him and we quickly became good friends. I highly recommend Dr Butler and her staff for all your veterinary needs!

Dr. Butler is a fantastic caring vetrinarin. She and her staff really knew a lot about smll exotics, like snkes and rats. When i ws there (after hours) she ws caring for several dogs and cats also. I highly recommend this veterinarian for any animal care and especially for small animals that most other veta dont know anything about.

I have been TAKING MY BIRDS AND CAT TO DR. BUTLER FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS. SHE LOVES ANIMALS AND IT SHOWS WHEN SHE IS TREATING THEM. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH HER AND RECOMMEND HER HIGHLY TO OTHERS. WHEN I LOST A BIRD, SHE SENT ME THE SWEETEST SYMPATHY CARD WITH A PRECIOUS SONG IN IT. SHE IS "ONE OF A KIND VET." I have brought several of my birds to Dr Butler, I have been extremely happy with her care. She is an excellent exotic veterinarian. She used stem cells to repair a severe injury on my bird. and has diagnosed treated my little cockatiel for diabetes. She is patient and gentle, and will go out of her way to accommidate you and your pet. I would highly recommend her to any one. Once you meet her you will like her too.

Dr. Butler saw my Blue and Gold Macaw and was absolutely wonderful with her as was her staff. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. If you watch her working with the animals, you can tell that she really loves them and wants to help them. Her rates are not very high and she also accepts payment plans. I will continue to bring my pets to her. I could not believe the poor rating I saw on here. Dr. Butler's facility is very nice, clean and comfortable. Upon entering, it is immediately noticeable that it is a very caring environment. I will continue to take my beloved pets to Dr. Butler as I trust her to do what is best for them and to be there to support me as their parent.

Debby Butler, DVM has been taking care of my cat, Ashley for over 7 years. She has been my vet for all my other pets (Green Iguanas, Spiny Tailed Iguanas, a Savanna Monitor, Ball python, etc... over the past 18 years Dr. Butler took knew she was a snowshoe tortoise shell before I took her out of her pet crate. Dr. Butler has done pre-flight physical exams, vaccines, and certifications for foreign travel, dental surgery, declawed and spayed my cat. She has ALWAYS given Ashley the highest quality care and ALWAYS for about 30-60% less then any other Vet would ever be willing to do the work for. Dr. Butler is a consummate professional, on the cutting edge of exotic and domestic veterinary medicine. As a nurse, I have a keen eye for safe medical practice and continuity of care. Dr Butler has expanded her clinic to provide a full range of in house veterinary medicine. She routinely goes the extra mile for patients. I trust Dr. Butler and highly recommend her to ALL of my friends and family.

I have been to this clinic and the poor rating turned in, is obviously not true.. Dr Butler has a beautiful Clinic with 2 Exam rooms, a seperate surgical suite, and a seperate room for dentals. They can do bloodwork in house and have a seperate X ray Machine room too. The staff is friendly and informative. Dr Butler is a VERY caring and up to date vet. She is extremely good with all animals, especially the tiny delicate exotic animals. She had done surgery on my bird and I was extremely pleased. My Bird Bright Eyes has recovered from her surgery. Dr Butler used Stem Cells on her and her healing was so increably fast. If there are any doubts about her, you only need to go and visit her, and her Clinic to figure out that that poor rating is just not true! Greatful
