Dr Lackner and Dr Ceballos are excellent vets. I recommend them any day. They are informative, and compassionate. I have been very pleased taking my old dog to them over the years.

I have nothing but great things to say about the vets and staff at this clinic. I have been taking my animals there for years and have never had a bad experience. Very professional. When a specialist consult is indicated, they refer to top specialists in a timely manner. Very thankful to have them this clinic and staff in my community.

Used to like this clinic because they were upfront about costs and wouldn't push for unnecessary procedure. But recently I brought my dog in to see dr Cebalos and he gave me an estimate for a dental procedure which seemed reasonable. But once I went ahead with it I got a call saying he was going to extract some teeth and my bill was going to be an extra $400 from what was estimated. I wasn't really given an option to say no as they said my dog was already under anasthetic and it had to be done. I know an estimate is just an estimate and I could understand a slight difference buy it was almost a 50 percent more. When I called to schedule my appointment I had asked the receptionist whether the estimate was still good and she had said yes, there might just be a slight difference depending on the time needed for the dental

I was extremely impressed with the service and attitudes of the staff. My puppy was shaking with fear at first but when Dr. Fisher came, she immediately lightened up. I just went for a general check up and Dr. Fisher was extremely thorough and informative on any issues or questions I had. She didn't try to sell me anything and made it clear that she just wants me to be aware that there are options out there that I could look into. The clinic is moderately priced in comparison to other clinics/animal hospitals that I had received quotes from (which is almost every one in Richmond). While this place is not the cheapest, you really do get what you pay for. Overall, I definitely recommend this clinic and Dr. Fisher as your vet!

I am so thankful I switched from steveston animal hospital to them. I have a staffy and often felt some vets treated him differently and without as much care because they were scared of him (he's a giant baby and wouldn't hurt a fly) and I really felt Dr.Ceballos gave him the best care possible. So glad I found them, it gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is being cared for by someone who doesn't look at him and think PITBULL!

Dr. Ceballos is knowledgable and he explained several possible causes regarding my dog's health conditions. The staff are friendly. Got the blood work result in an hour. Thumbs up.

My dog was their patient since Dr. B Thiesson, the previous owner. I went for a visit recently with Dr. Fisher recently as my dog had a minor ear infections, little odor n some scratching only. Dr. Fisher advised a five-day treatment of ear cleaning solution with a medication ear drop. After that, my dog has lost his hearing. It was absolutely fine before the treatment. After the re- check the only answer from Fisher is probably because of his aging (12's only) and use the whistle instead. What do u feel if your dr. Asks u to use a wheel chair or a clutch forever after they gave u the medication or treatment. Unbelievable! They charge an office call of $60 by only checking the weight n the problem area only ???

Saw Dr Lackner today regarding my dog. She offered some alternatives and suggestions as to my dog's condition. She gave me an immediate quote as to suggested treatment. Very happy with overall care and concern re my pet

Excellent care overall. When I explained that I thought my dog was in pain, they saw her immediately. They took a lot of time explaining to me what they thought the problem was. With every test done, there was calls to my home explaining the results. Highly recommend this clinic.

My cat had a urinary tract infection and they fit us in on the same day. Very kind and compassionate, and affordable in comparison to some other clinics.

I called the Seafair vet when my dog started making noises and stumbling. I called them in a panic saying I thought he was dying and I was a wreck and their response was "Sorry we don't have any appointments available until tomorrow morning, would you like to book one?" - WHAT? I called a different vet in the area (Steveston) and they said to bring him in immediately and they would call a veterinarian in right away. I have only ever gone to the one in Steveston since this incident just because of the compassion demonstrated.

I was their client since I bought my present dog 10 yrs ago. Their previous owner was Dr. B Thiesson. Then They changed their owner till now. I can say everybody who works there are still as good as before, no change. Doctors are patient, spending plenty of time explaining everything to us. Answer every question we have. Dr. L Lackner is very nice too. I can see their love to animals. They are professional and full of love. I highly recommend them to any pet owners.

Thank goodness Seafair clinic is open on Sundays. It eases my burden of having to get out of work early to take my dog to get his vaccines done. I brought my dog there for a check up recently and the weekend staff were great. Two thumbs up. They will be seeing me and my pets again (well, hopefully not too frequently.)

Dr Cebalos spent a long time discussing with me my dog's condition, advising me of all possible causes of her illness. The staff were wonderful, fully explaining the meds and demonstrating how to give them to the dog. I was amazed at how little the visit cost, considering the meds I walked out with. A very good experience

Was handed a bill that was over double the quote I was given. When I questioned the difference, the receptionist said "Did you get the quote in writing?" like deception was a common practice with them. Was also charged for a "hospitalization" stay as my pet was at the clinic so long--this was because they had an emergency and we had to wait over an hour to see the vet. Their fault but I was still charged. Will never take my pets to this clinic again.

Last week I had to put my little poodle down after 15 years of loving companionship...I was so upset at losing my fur baby, but the staff there showed me and my dog so much compassion. The vet patiently and kindly helped me through a devastating situation and helped me give him a peaceful passing. I will always be thankful for the kindness they showed.

We had to say goodbye to our 17 year-old cat this week -- our regular vet was not available, so I called Seafair Vets to see if they could help. They were quick, compassionate, and kind. Our sincere thanks!

My aunt referred me to this clinic for my kittens. I brought my 4 kittens to be spayed and neuterd. Doctors and staff are very nice to me and my cats. They explained all my concerns and questions. Because I was also a new owner of cats, the doctor and staff made sure I understood what to be aware of and what I could do for the cats after surgery before i brought the kittens home. 1 of my cats was stressed in the cage and scratched 1 of the staff before surgery. I apologized to the staff and she responsed "it's ok. He was just stressed and scared. It happens and don't worry." with a smile on her face!! They were also being very understanding when i over-reacted on the wounds of my cats. They quickly scheduled me for a same day appointmenet, checked the wound thoroughly, explained the redness and NEVER charged me a dime as they see it as a follow up!!! Highly recommend this clinic to everyone!!
