The facilities are clean, but I wouldn't go for just that factor. The expenses are way out of proportion and it takes a lifetime itself to get the staff to see to your needs. The staff themselves seem to be more interested in telling one another stories rather than helping. You can book an appointment at almost any time, but that makes one wonder more so about the customers they are getting in general.

Animal Medical Centre is hands down the best animal care and vet facility. Ruby and Zoey LOVE all 3 of the fantastic vets there...even after vaccinations and being spay! The office staff is extremely knowledgable and super accommodating for urgent last minute appointments. Typically where there is more than one Vet at a facility you tend to have a favourite that might be your first request, however Dr. Claffy, Dr. Tomkowitz, and Dr. Bishay are all equally fantastic!

I have been bringing my pets here for almost twenty years. I love Dr. Claffey and Dr. Tomkowicz. They are both very gentle and sweet with my twenty year old cat. The techs are also wonderful here.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this clinic. The staff goes beyond their kindness towards myself & my pet. The vetrinary doctors were honest and showed a lot of kindness and compassion towards my pet. Have boarded My dog there numerous times, and I do so because the boarding facilities are clean and well taken care of. I am going to be moving away from Edmonton, and it will be very hard to find a clinic that even compares to it. I would recomend this clinic 100%.

I have taken all of my pets to this clinic since they were originally on 51st ave (over 20 years!). They have always been warm and friendly to myself and my dogs and cats. Routine procedures (vaccinations, spay/neuter etc) seem average price-wise, but once something more extensive has to be done it can get pricy. I can overlook that because of the care my pets receive and the expertise of Dr. Claffey... he has always been great and is extremely smart. I recommend Dr. Tomkowicz as well.

These people don't care about you or your pet. They only want your money. They will squeeze every penny you have for tests that have nothing to do with your pets treatment. I took my puppy in for his vaccinations and I was told that it included a physical exam. My puppy was sick and was prescribed medications. Turns out that I had to pay for the exam even though it was included with the vaccines. Money grubbing or what? Dr. Bishay is very ignorant of other people and his staff. I saw him screaming at his front end staff because they were taking too long to respond to him even though they were busy with the next in line patient. The short dark haired lady that apparently runs the place is a loud mouth and should understand and learn how people respect each other in this country.

The clinic constantly made errors in our file from the beginning e.g. spelling of dog and our names, breed, wt., lost our record of our first puppy vaccine. Manager (lady) is extremely unprofessional to communicate with. Had to find out after the fact that a different vet than we had requested had done the neuter. Brought our now over 100 lb dog in for exam/vaccines--Despite zero signs of aggression, Dr. T did not even touch him during the entire apt. and said that because we had concerns about his hips, they would require us to come back and have him put under full anesthesia to be examined, x-rayed, and vaccinated. We were then charged for the entire 80$ exam fee at that time, even though there was absolutely NO exam that occurred, and gave us an estimate for ~730$ for the anesthetised exam/x-ray. Have since brought our dog elsewhere. Will never return to this vet clinic who's main focus is charging the most money possible for the least amount of service provided possible-Disgusted.

Although the front end staff are amazing, the vet doesn't seem too interested in cats. I took my cat there and she was naturally not happy. He didn't pet her or call her by her name, just manhandled her to examine her. I spent oodles of money to get blood tests and xrays and he said there was nothing wrong with her. 2 months later she started coughing up blood. Now I'm on the hunt for another vet...

You can get in almost anytime and the place is always empty. this is a bad sign. After going there I understand why, the owner is very rude.
