The team is very nice and welcoming. Dr. Rafik Kodsy is very knowledgeable and explains the medical case of pets clearly and professianly and spends a good amount of time with the pet. The prices are reasonable and I highly recommend Dr. Kodsy and Morningstar Pet Hospital.

I brought my puppy in for her 3 month shots and check up. I noticed immediately how clean the facility was. The staff was welcoming and Dr. Kodsy was very friendly, and allowed my puppy to smoother him with kisses (she's a very friendly dog). He gave me loads of tips in training and tending to my puppy's needs. He was gentle with her and talked me through the examination and explained what each of the vaccinations he would be providing her with entailed. Thanks so much for taking such good care of my little one I will definitely be back and I highly recommend the clinic.

This is probably the best clinic in the Durham Region. I feel great about taking my dog there. It's a beautiful office with very fair fees. Dr. Kodsey is thorough and so caring. His staff is excellent.

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a new vet. Morningstar was recommended to us. Dr. Kodsy and his staff have been excellent in treating our golden retriever. Highly recommended!

Dr. Kodsy is the best veterinarian I have ever known. He performed emergency surgery on my sweet dog Roo and literally saved her life and kept her heart from failing. He never hesitates to answer questions and provide you with as much information as possible, he explains things and helps you understand a situation with ease, facilitating educated decision making. He is personable and makes you feel at ease when your pet is in his care, he is knowledgeable and provides suggestions to aid in your pets wellbeing. He handles an emergency with a calm demeanor that reassures even the most frantic pet owner. He never pressures you to spend money where it is not warranted, and will be honest and explanatory when you ask for his opinion or recommendations. He truly understands what it is to be a pet owner, and empathizes. We also went to Dr. Kodsy when our late ShihTzu was ill, and he was phenomenal with his care and he was also there to support us when he passed. The RVT's are also phenomenal.

I have been a pet parent for many years. Over the years I have taken my fur family members to a few different local vet clinics. I heard about a fantastic new clinic and decided to try it. This was the best decision I ever made for my pets. Dr Kodsy and his staff is amazing. They truly care about each and every patient and the family that comes with them. I brought my rabbit to Dr. Kodsy last week for a check-up. The tech was very sweet and good with her. And Dr. Kodsy was very thorough with the check-up and took his time going through everything. I knew she was healthy, but I have been paranoid ever since my last rabbit passed away from a parasite (diagnosed by Baker Animal Clinic, which I would not recommend to anyone) so I knew it would be a pretty basic check-up. His prices are very good compared to other clinics in the area. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a vet in the Whitby area because of his prices and how caring and thorough he is.

I work in Toronto so am unable to make weekday appointments. Was able to make a weekend appointment, which they cancelled the morning of. Because I had to reschedule, I had to send my boyfriend with my dog to the appointment, where they up sold him without telling him prices for anything. My appointment that usually costs around 120 for a usual check up and shots, ended up costing over 400.00. I will never be back.

I can't say enough about this clinic. I have used the services of at least 10 clinics in the area over the last 15 years because of different types of animals, breeding programs and helping friends. This is by far the best vet in Durham region. Knowledgeable, compassionate to both patient and owner personally interested in his patient's well-being, flexible, always learning His fees are reasonable to the point of being comparatively cheap to other vets. His support staff is equally competent and compassionate. He will work with owners who believe in alternative diets and limited vaccine protocols and has made himself available after hours. He also provides home/mobile services...Truly exceptional.
