My cat had a medical emergency and this clinic was the only one that would take him in, they saved his life. Dr Koo is exceptional as is Wendy and the technician, very compassionate and caring. My cat ended up having to be moved to a hospital but Dr. Koo actually messaged me in the evening to check if everything was ok and they again followed up today to see how my cat is. Exceptional staff, passionate about animals and their human owners, fully recommend, they go above and beyond!

The staff here absolutely adore animals and treat them with great love. Their wellness plan helps with costs. The rehab for senior animals is amazing, and has given me at least another year with my dog.

I've had my puppy at this clinic for shots, spaying and an emergency. I've always has a good experience and so has my pup. They always call me the next day to find out how she's doing. They have a fantastic "Wellness Program". The front staff are always friendly to us and the whole staff are very caring. Our pup received excellent care during an emergency and aftercare. I often wonder when people complain about vets being expensive if they think about how many years the vet went to school and how expensive that was. Would they complain if they had to pay for their care at a doctor? I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality care for their pet from very caring and professional staff.

Veterinary care is expensive, no matter where you go!! I read all these comments about how much they liked the old owners of 12 years ago, that expensive testing wasn't done and their pooch was "just fine" - those tests didn't exist back then and I think it's rather naive to think your pooch was better off without them? I have had nothing but positive experiences with DR.Lamb and wouldn't hesitate for one minute to assert that she CARES about my dogs. I had a HORRIBLE experience at CIVS and when my dog needed emergency over nite care, she came in and cared for my dog herself. DR.Lamb also came up with a new drug/food regime that has allowed my allergy ridden dog the best quality of life he's had in 5 years - without the use of straight up Prednisone that 5 vets before her always ended up prescribing. I really appreciate all that DR.Lamb and her staff do to make a trip to the vet as pleasant as possible :)

Pretty pissed off I even bothered with this place. If your pet has any real issues GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Never got a straight answer and they wanted me to bring my dog over every day. Basically robbing me. Went to another vet and just like that things are looking up.

Our pets have been clients of Applecross Veterinary Clinic for a number of years. Since the change of ownership two years ago, the quality service and care for our pets has diminished significantly. There is absolutely no follow-up to tests paid for and conducted. They have forgotten to order important medications and have printed labels for the medications with wrong dosages. They are not very thorough and the rates charged are exorbitant for the services. I have currently changed clinics and am pleased to have discovered what a well-managed, caring veterinary clinic has to offer our pets. I truly believe the only reason they maintain any clients is due to their extended hours. I could never recommend taking a loved furry family member to this clinic.

My dog recently had surgery at this clinic. They are always running late with appts. Front end staff not the friendliest and they seem to not know what they are doing. Dr. Lamb did an amazing job with my dogs surgery but the follow up lacked. Sonia is fantastic always great with my dog. Always caring and always has a smile and sincerely cares about me and my pet. Otherwise I do not feel welcome at this clinic.

I used to take my cat to this vet until recently. I called to get a prescription filled for my cats asthma only to be told they won't do it unless I get some tests done that I know for a fact, don't NEED to be done. So they refused to help my cat and wanted him to suffer. Needles to say, I went elsewhere and am very happy.

Is it me or are the staff and vets always confused at this clinic? It is almost like they do not know how to run a vet clinic. I will be bringing my little friend to a new clinic from now on so she can get the proper care she deserves.

I've been taking my dog here for 13 years and since Dr. Yeomans has sold the clinic I have had nothing but problems with the new staff. They have run more tests on my dog after I had come back for the exact same problem where I had spent $300 to have the same test done only the month before - and the results were the same. So frusterating. It's really sad because I don't want to have to go to a new vet. The only good thing left about this clinic is Sonia - she is awesome. She still treats my dog the same way since I started taking my dog here. Not impressed with the new ownership of this clinic.

So disappointed by this clinic. Dr Yeomans used to run a wonderful facility but since selling it I have noticed a horrible decline in service and care for my animals. I am disappointed by their locum staff and also by their regular staff; all of whom do not seem to understand what the clinics policies are, which in turn cases huge issues for clients. I am sorry to say that after using this clinic for a very long time I will be leaving. I would strongly recommend seeing if this clinic is a fit before you choose them to take care of your beloved animal. I know I won't be trusting them any longer.

Since Chris Yeoman's sold her clinic to the new owners in May 2012, things have gone right downhill. It is no longer about the animals, it is all about making money. While the tech staff like Sonya are excellent, the vets are inexperienced, leaving medicine to diagnostics and not experience.Recently my cat had a blade of grass caught in his upper palate. $400 of tests for eronious things while I kept insisting it was something caught in his throat. Finally, in frustration, I bundled him off to my old vet in Sidney for fear he'd die if left in their care. It was grass. Within 20 minutes of seeing my old vet,my cat was fine. However, I never heard back from Applecross. They ran tests for no reason, never listened to me, never followed up. Needless to say, that was the last straw. That was instance# 3 of slipshaw practice in regard to my pets. I am moving vets.

I really liked Dr Yoemans, And Dr.Milton, but since the clinic was sold, I am not sold on the new Veterinarians, My dog has a lot of allergies and it seems they just want to start all the trials over again, I am afraid not, will find somewhere else to take my pooch.

I took my Chihuahua on July 3th 2012 for a simply teeth cleaning procedure and I got back a mutilated dog.An irresponsible assistant cut Pancho 8 nails through half leaving him in excruciating pain.He cried for two days and night and din't even care to give us some painkillers to help him after came out from anesthesia.This barbaric person should never touch a pet again and I will file a complain to make sure will never happen again to another animal.With her cruel practice on my dog she shows that not only hates animals but hates her self.After you cut one nail wrong why she did not stop ? why she had to cut seven more?When I called the the vet Dr.Lahm ( the owner) told me that is not possible because her staff is highly qualified and her two vet technicians has 15years and 25 years experience .She also tried to accuse us that we took the dog after somewhere else to cut Pancho nails shorter!!After I took the dog back she admitted that it happened there and it looks very bad.

my family and I have been taking our cats and dogs here for 15 years. They have always been extremely well cared for and I feel that we are in good hands every time. There have been a couple times that I have had to bring my cat in for emergency injuries and ALL staff were very kind, understanding, and compassionate. There was no hesitation in getting us in right away that same day. I care greatly for my pets and therefore have many questions in regards to their health, my questions are always answered and explained to me so that I leave satisfied. I will continue to recommend Dr. Yeoman's and her staff to all my family and friends.

Great clinic my husband and I have used them for years. Most recently to have our newest puppy neutered. The staff are always friendly and they have the friendliest dogs wandering around the lobby!

We loved Dr. Briggs when she was here (we have used this clinic since 2003) but since she moved to the mainland we have had less than great experiences here. The vet that is usually there now (Dr. Yeomans) just isn't our cup of tea. We don't like her "tableside" manner with our cat/dog and even us (maybe it's just a personality thing, but it wouldn't kill her to smile once in a while or show that she likes her career in some way). We felt very overcharged when we needed same day care for a tear in our dogs skin... it wasn't after hours, there was nobody in the waiting room that we "bumped" or made wait and we still were charged a lot because we hadn't booked ahead. A similar situation happened twice before and we were not charged over $100 to be seen as an "emergency" but that was when Dr. Briggs was there... miss her lots! We have recently moved on to Benson View where so far we have been quite happy.

I have three dogs. Two weeks ago two of them got ripped up by a raccoon. This vet not only re arranged her schedule to get us in right away, but actualy listened to me about my dogs. When I said they were gentle she, she did not force muzzle them or try to put them under. She worked quickly and did a great job two weeks later both dogs barely have a scar. I would recommend to any one looking for a great vet who actually cares about the animal and the owner to head straight to applecross.

We have taken all of our pets here for the last 10 years. Have defiantly seen the level of care and how they value customers drop. Disappointing... Now am in the process of finding a new vet. Must say front staff are very nice and helpful.

Got recommended this clinic from my dogs's "daycamp" as the majority of their clients went here and I was very impressed. The staff was lovely and the doctor even better. My only issue was that we had to wait a bit and my cat does not like to be kept in a cage!

Had an emergency with my dog and understand to have been overcharged ...1200.00 for a fractured foot bone in the hind and some exrays..wasnt impressed!I go now to petroglyph!!

We used this clinic for years but now that the our pets primary vet has left to start her own business, we've moved on. If you're looking to pay money for tests that you don't feel are necessary and don't mind getting the odd incorrect diagnosis, then this is the place for you. This clinic appears to be run more as a business model than a veteranarians clinic and the business degree on the wall of the exam room right beside the veteranarian degree would attest to this. The staff were always excellent, kind, considerate and caring which is rather odd since they seem to change monthly. I'm glad we've moved on and found a new vet.

I have always received excellent professional service from all the vets and staff at this clinic. In the past I have found some vets at other clinics condescending, but this was not the case here. My dog's trainer also uses them!

The facility and the price all reflect what you get here. They are cheaper than other clinics and you pay for what you get. Should you have a problem with the care dont expect any sympathy or customer service here. Once its done they want nothing else to do with it. The front staff are fabulous but they aren't the ones taking care of your pet. Definately not impressed with this clinic at all.
