I've been taking my dogs to this clinic since 1998 and they have gotten extremely expensive. The doctor I've been dealing with is not knowledgeable in the medication side effects nor knowledgeable in nutrition in dogs. Because of this my dog has been suffering needlessly and I might lose him. They do not clean the rooms after a dog has been examined for the next dog. My dog got kennel cough after a dental. Between the dental and the kennel cough that week cost me $1,000.00. I'm switching to another clinic. Everyone who owns an animal, please do your research on the medications prescribed and the food you feed. And research doctors to see which one has a passion for what they do and that they sincerely care about the animlas they are treating.

I brought my very sick cat to Aztec. The vet ordered abdominal xrays and charged more than $500; when the xrays were negative, they suggested another set at an additional cost of $500. On the recommendation of a friend, I brought cat to Northwest Animal Clinic, which diagnosed a heart problem, prescribed medication and the cat responded immediately. I will not return to Aztec, though it is near my house and Northwest is at the opposite end of the city.
