BEWARE!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO DR. NEWKIRK OR THEY MAY NOT COME OUT ALIVE! I took my dog to Dr. Newkirk to have his teeth cleaned. The doctor said my dog was a perfect candidate for this. A few hours after dropping off our dog, Dr Newkirk called my wife and told her he could not do the procedure because our dog was too agitated. We wanted to come get our dog immediately, but he said to wait. As time passed by, my wife called the office. He told her our dog took a turn for the worse and is in critical condition with a temperature. He then said come and get him. LUCKILY MY WIFE CALLED BACK. Dr. Newkirk told us he didn't think our dog would make it. We then had to rush our dog to animal hospital an hour away where he had to have emergency surgery. When we left Dr. Newkirk's office, no one showed any concern or compassion for our dog. We were in panic mode and scared. Dr. Newkirk is NEGLIGENT. He should not be allowed anywhere near an animal! DO NOT take your animals to this doctor!

I have used Newkirk Family Veterinarians for more than ten years. They go above and beyond with every pet I take in. It is Doctor Newkirk who has extended the lives of three of our cats over the years. I trust him and the staff there explicitly. (Rogena)

I like this facility. The fact that Dr. Newkirt also offers alternative care for my pets is a plus. The staff takes their time explains and makes sure I understand what is done to my pets. I also get follow up calls after visits. The fees are like any other Vets office. Vets are no bargain basement. I pay for their expertise. I am extremely comfortable with Dr. Newkirk. He saved my sisters Cat, who she found as a kitten, in the middle of a busy street causing a traffic jam. Sister got out of the car and saved the Kitten. Another Vet was trying to euthanize the kitten. She found Dr. Newkirk, and 9 years later, Sox is still enjoying life. I have 4 Jaoanese Chins. Dr. Newkirk takes care of all of them. I trust him, and his well trained staff

Seems to care more about making money than healing your pet. Did not read pet's chart before examining pet. Overcharges for meds. My pet suffered needlessly.
