I would not trust anybody else but Dr. Karen with my animals. I had a very bad experience with another veterinarian in Allentown and it was extremely heartbreaking what happened to my pets. She is extremely caring, easy to talk to and she explains everything in detail. Prices are very reasonable also.

They are taking good care of our puppy. Staff is helpful and they have shown concern for our questions. Service was on time and cost reasonable.

Dr. Karen Hess insisted that I pay her before she would euthanize my beloved pet. Can you imagine my distressed animal is on the table and they are taking my credit card out to the desk to get it approved? Then they bring the papers in for me to sign right on the same exam table where my animal is lying and will be euthanized as soon as I sign the papers. She told me they do this because they are worried that once he is dead I would not pay them. Can you imagine? Run from this practice if you care about your special friends. They did not call the next day to check up after surgery like they said they would. When I called to leave a message for Dr. Karen to call me back the receptionist didn't even ask me how my pet was doing. Now I'm second guessing my decision to rely on her recommendation to euthanize my pet.

i am a senior citizen but work full time. My schedule varies as to times and locations every week. I do not know from one week to the next when or where I am scheduled. When you make an appointment with Dr Karen's Kritter care you need to make it well in advance. So I made appoitments and had to cancel due to my work schedule, sometimes the same day. She called me personally and told me I cannot come back to the office because I missed more than three (3) appointments. I've been going to them for 8 years with four cats and lots of money spent. Dr Karen was very rude and I felt like a little girl being condemed for a bad thing I did. I couln'd explain any of this to her. Just so cold and rude. Also a vet, who is not there anymore, misdiagnosed my cat and was going to put a needle in her heart. She called another vet at home and it was cancer. So don't go there very scary.

I asked for a rate to spay a female dog. I was given a price for what I thought was under 50lbs and over 50lbs. So when I took my dog in and surprised by the price, only to told I was given a rate for a female and male dog under 50 lbs rate. So I complained and the staff was pretty rude. I asked to speak with Dr. Karen who told me, people say she has decent rates and I should pick up my dog if I don't feel comfortable with her and her staff. And that's exactally what I did!
