I will never again use Madison Veterinary Clinic. Less than 24 hrs after picking up a healthy puppy she couldn't use her hindquarters. Baxley's diagnosis,separation anxiety. Additionally, he gave her shots even though the breeder had given her shots just 4 days prior, therefore, the vaccines had no benefit since they were given to close together. The next day the puppy's hindquarters were worse. Baxley's diagnosis a crippling disease he offered no treatment. Using another vet, the puppy has recovered, the problem could have been several things, including an allergic reaction to vaccines. Even though I no longer use Baxley his lack of knowledge goes on. During the 07/08 winter Baxley diagnosed another dog's eye problem as allergies. This dog is scheduled for surgery to correct a common eye problem that left untreated can cause blindness. Last yr I had to euthanize a horse maybe another vet wouldn't have helped, but in my opinion Baxley is the worse vet I have ever used.
