Very disappointed with this clinic overall. One person in particular was very difficult to deal with and not very caring at all. This clinic followed up with our family after we had to make a heart wrenching decision to put our animal down. Their first question to me was where we had it done, and this was after many months of feeling shunned and not being able to get an appointment or medication renewal for our pet. An animal hospital in a small town in the Ottawa Valley was most kind, understanding and showed us much compassion during this difficult time. We would never ever again use this clinic in Barrhaven or recommend them to anyone.

Very bad experience with this clinic overall. Charges are very high but will not give the best treatment and advice for your pet! They will keep calling you for follow up but will not help for anything you need when it comes to assistance. They will just keep telling you "sorry to hear that" but do nothing to make things better for your pet. Very disappointing! I suggest to call other places first before going to this clinic!

Heartless, greedy, unwilling to help sick disabled people with a sick pet, had to put cat to sleep, live now completely alone, my long sleep is next. Thanks doc

The staff at Barrhaven Veterinary Hospital are excellent. The support staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I've seen both veterinarians here also for both my cats and dog. They are great with the animals and know their stuff. I think they truly want what's best for our pets, however, their services come at a VERY high cost. I did feel pushed/intimidated into tests/exams/products sometimes. I think they are at the very high end of the price scale. Unfortunately because of this we've had to move to another veterinary clinic.

When i brought it my dog he was quite nervous about the dr. and growled a lot when he felt uncomfortable while being touched around the chest and stomach area. i found it reasonable for the dr. to put on a muzzle however when i asked the dr. how my dog was feeling she said that he was very healthy however that i should put down my dog because he was considered aggressive. i found it completely rude that she told me that because he growled a bit. he never has had a history of biting or violence at all. i never went back to that vet again because of her rude comment of telling me to put down my very healthy dog.

Extremely disappointed by the intimidation tactics, guilt and fear mongering that was displayed by the vets and staff at this clinic. I don't doubt their abilities but they are clearly in business for the sole purpose of making money. A clinic needs to be profitable to stay in business but we always felt like I was getting robbed every time we took one of our cats to this clinic. Found another clinic where we and our cats are much happier

We left this clinic for good as well.They seem more interested in milking money from owners,than providing good care & service. We were charged full examination fees for follow up visits (2wks post treatment) & had scheduling issues where they insisted we see the same vet only to return and have another vet assess our dog. Watch your bills if you continue to use this clinic. We moved to another clinic not far a way, and are much happier.

Left this clinic for good today for the lack of heart they have, Called in to re new a pain killer for my dog. was told they would call me back. I waited to hear from them from 11 this morning till 2:30pm when i had to call them back. I was then told I would have to book an assement appt. before would could further the meds he was already on. Silly and high robbery !!!!

To charge $300 to put a cat down and then another $200 if you want the ashes is ridiculous.

All of the staff at the BVH are terrific! The vets are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and very caring. The techs are top notch and everyone seems like they enjoy their job there. I always recommend their fantastic services to any of my friends who have pets. Keep up the great work!!

I was extremely disappointed with the care we received - more upset about the care we as owners received than our pet. They don't call back, they don't follow up and simply put, they made us feel like they just didn't care, not about the animals, but about us.
