I've been bringing my 4 pets to see Dr. Kewish for the past 12 years and have nothing but good things to say about the whole team. From the receptionists, Vet Techs to Dr. Kewish herself I have always felt we were in good, caring hands. They were great and squeezed us in on last minute emergencies many times, which was much appreciated.

Dr. Kate Kewish is a complete quack and should be ashamed to call herself a vet. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
I took my dog here in 2017 and they gave me a prescription of allergy medication, since they prescribed this medication to me before and my regular vet in Edmonton was unexpectedly closed for the Christmas break, i thought maybe my poor suffering senior dog who needs this medication for his skin would be given a new prescription of pills.
I had all of my most recent vet records sent to her from Vancouver, where I live now, and from the regular vet clinic he went to in Edmonton from the last 3-4 years which showed MULTIPLE prescriptions of this allergy medication.
When I arrived with my dog who was CLEARLY in pain, crying, shaking his head violently due to ear infection and he also had a hematoma developing on his ear, I was accused of trying to “dupe” dr. Kate Kewish and “lying” to her about the situation!

Very disappointed with service at this clinic. Took my 15 mth old kitten there. Returned 3 times and they could not tell me what his problem was.I called and talked to vet a couple timesShe did return call once and he was getting sicker and not eating.They did blood work once and took temp once.This went on for 2 wk period. They never called to see how he was doing. i ended taking him to a different vet who gave me an answer in an hour and a half.Unfortunately it was to late. Had to make decision of having him euthanized. I'm devastated. Would never return to their clinic again.

My husband and I have been taking our two cats to the team at Ellerslie Pet Hospital (EPH) since they were 10 and 12 weeks old. Our girls have received nothing but outstanding care from all of the vets at this clinic. The team at EPH helped to diagnose one of our girls with food allergies and IBS and also helped the same cat when we thought she had eaten something she shouldn’t have. The quick response and willingness to help off all of the staff at EPH is amazing; they are always happy to answer quick questions over the phone and greet us like valued customers when we stop in for cat food or a checkup. I would HIGHLY recommend EPH to anyone and have even referred my closest friends to this veterinary clinic. 10/10, 5 stars, thumbs up the very BEST vet clinic in Edmonton.

I have been coming to this clinic for a number of years and I can't say enough positive things about the staff and about Dr. Kate Kewish. I trust Dr. Kewish implicitly for the care of my current and previous dog. Her knowledge and her approach to care has been invaluable and second-to-none. Not to mention, she saved me a lot of money compared to what I would have paid at other vet clinics for the care provided to my animals. (And I had been to numerous other vet clinics before I started coming to Ellerslie Pet Hospital with my previous beloved dog, Merlin.) Dr. Kewish was able to diagnose the trouble Merlin was having with cognitive dysfunction where at least 5 other vets had failed. With the right meds he was able to live a far longer life with tremendous quality than he otherwise would have. I feel like a member of the family when I come to Ellerslie Pet Hospital and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new clinic.

I own two dogs and switched not long ago to this vet due to being very unhappy with the previous one. Dr. Daren is amazing and has treated me with complete understanding and patience far more than any vet I've ever been to before. He doesn't rush us in and out but listens closely to our concerns and answers all questions indepth to alleviate worries we have about our dogs, especially our puppy Nyota. All the staff I've dealt with have been incredible and we even got a tour of the whole facility when we switched vets. He even invited us to call him anytime during working hours just to chat about any problems and if he isn't around, he always calls back. We've even gotten calls from the vet randomly to inquire about Nyota's problems and if they've improved. Absolutely happy with this vet clinic and I'd recommend it to everyone who is looking for a vet right now. Their rating on here deserves to be way higher.

My husband took our dog in last Mon because he had become extremely lethargic over the wknd, the vet diagnosed heart failure and sent them home. Fast forward 1 week, our dog had declined rapidly, I took him back at 8:30AM to the vet for 'observation' as they called it. I had to call twice for updates and when I finally went to pick him up I was greeted by a vet telling me she thought they were just 'babysitting' our dog so didn't get around to seeing him until 5pm. She noticed his gums were white, (they were white the previous Mon)that he had been misdiagnosed & that if I didn't get him to Guardian for a blood transfusion immediately he would die. My family trusted the vet, they completely disappointed and almost cost my dog his life. 3 days later our dog is still in the hospital, thankfully stable but we will absolutely NEVER step foot back in this vet office other than to file a formal complaint as well as to show them the final bill that we get from Guardian.

Came in on a Sunday staff at the front are nice had very very bad experience with the vet which made me upset she made very rude comments about my German puppy my kids had to experience this bad visit just because of this vet who was upset working on a Sunday! Also have had staff give wrong information over the phone to grooming place which then asked me to come back because my puppy had just received his vaccine however this was done months ago. I believe many clients come in thinking everyone here is kind and professional not until you are one on one with these vets. God thing is that new clinics have opened up same area will be happy to visit them.

I have had the fortune of moving back to Edmonton and coming back to The Ellerslie Pet Hospital. I have found that their friendly service and determination to help me with my animals has been un-matched. I have had several vets in the past. None seem as compassionate, and caring. My now 13 year old dog first started seeing Dr. Kewish about 7 years ago. He was in terrible pain and continually had ear and skin infections. It took several tests, specialists, research and trial and error to find something that would help him cope. We can't cure him because he is essentially allergic to everything in the world. But he can at least sleep again and be comfortable enough to have a normal life. I would recommend Dr. Kewish and the entire Ellerslie Pet Hospital to anyone. Not only do they care about fixing your animal they take the time to talk with you and have you understand what is wrong with your animal.

I had Dr.Park who was awesome. I had him perform her spay.He had dewormed her with a topical treatment which never worked.I mentioned it to him and an oral treatment was given and it was successful.I work in FT McMurray and needed a prescription refill and called Ellerslie and spoke with Dr.Kewish's husband.He was extremely difficult to deal with and was speaking as if he was a veternarian himself.I then spoke with Dr.Kewish and she said that if the topical treatment doesnt work then the oral treatment wouldnt.I explained that for whatever reason the oral does.She finally prescribed it and it worked within hours-same as last time.I then took Celtie in for her rabies shot and Dr.Kewish's husband gave me her new RABIES tag.Dr.Kewish took me in and instead of asking if the Pancur worked or give her rabies shot-she said that I live too far way(I commute)and no more treatment.She didnt care to know if it worked-apathetic to my dog. Also I have the RABIES tag but no shot? Weird/and wrong.

The front staff are very kind! Then I came in contact with Dr Kewish who was rude, disrespectful, & displayed a very demeaning attitude. I have never come across someone who has been so obviously rude & short to their clients. I wish I could have had a more positive experience, & I am sure the other doctors are amazing- however I will not return as I do not want to support Dr Kewish & her impersonal behaviors. Smile once in a while Kewish, people look up to you for your knowledge & expertise...

Ellerslie Pet Hospital is AMAZING. Dr. Kewish has taken our dog from a smelly/fur-less dog and transformed her into a dog of beauty. The facility is top of the line, the staff are very friendly and compassionate. We even gave up going to our great vet down the street, and opted to drive the 30-40mins to see Ellerslie Pet Hospital!!

I was looking for a clinic for our new puppy. When I called and spoke to a technician that was very informative. She was so helpful and so bright she made me want to bring my pets to Ellerslie Vet. Once I got there I was greeted by a short blonde with the biggest smile that stayed and chatted with me while my husband got our dog vaccinated. Very professional clinic and great prices. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

I have to strongly disagree with the negative posts because I have never witnessed that type of behaviour with any staff at this hospital. And in the past 2 months, we have spent A LOT of time there. My boyfriend and I adopted our cat from the Edm Humane Society and shortly after he got very ill. I phoned the clinic right before closing and they told me to bring my cat in right away. They have been treating our cat since December 2012. He has a very rare disorder but Dr. Kewish and her team managed to cure his condition and save his life. They allow us to visit anytime we can (no appt needed) and for as long as we want. I cannot put into words how thankful we are to entire team for all they have done for Coop. They have gone above and beyond in every single way. They are the nicest group of people and their compassion for animals along with their extensive knowledge makes them the whole package. You all have treated us like family and we can't thank you enough.

I have been a pet owner for 20 years with many vetrinary experiences. This is the best clinic I have ever been to. They took care of my dog who had been injured at the very end of their day. They all stayed late and gave him great care at a great price. Very professional and personable.

Have never been in a clinic that treated its employees with such disrespect in front of clients. Would never take my pet here or recommend this clinic to anyone I know. Everything in this clinic is over priced and the service doesn't warrant the increased prices. Better service available elsewhere. Its truly unfortunate that a person is allowed to own a business and treat its staff and sometimes the patients with absolutely no kindness.

I was not at all impressed with how the vet treated me when I brought my sick dog in. She seemed to want to push unnecessary treatments all for money sake, she showed no compassion towards how to help...she only seemed interested in gouging me for money. I will never take my pets there again, I am more interested in someone who wants to help animals, not steal money from clients!

I have been going to Ellerslie Pet Hospital for a long time and both Dr. Kewish and her husband are amazing and very hard working. I know they care deeply for every aspect of their practice. My only negative comment is that Dr. Kewish in my opinion has always been so helpful and caring but now I feel that has changed and although she is helpful she has stopped caring.

Took my dog here a few months ago for her vaccines and routine exam. Staff was very welcoming, and exceptional with my dog. Vet was very informative, great with my dog, and thorough. I had a free tour, and my dog had her nails clipped. SO far this clinic looks to be a good one, and I will for sure take my dog back when it's needed.

My first experience with Dr Kewish was when I had to put down my very old cat. He was near death when we walked in the door and I was a sobbing mess. Dr Kewish was kind and compassionate and so gentle with my dying kitty. Since that experience I have brought my dog to her for for neuter and regular check ups and didn't hesitate at bringing my new puppy to her. Dr Kewish and her clinic staff have been AMAZING. They always take the time to answer my questions and make sure that I am well informed before making any decisions. Unfortunately my puppy, now a year old, has a serious health issue. Dr Kewish has made her self available to discuss my options for care and treatment. I never hesitate to recommend Ellerslie Pet Hospital to anyone I know for outstanding vet care. I trust the clinic implicitly with my babies

Me and My boyfriend began taking our puppy to Ellerslie clinic because they are open Sundays . This was prefect for us since its the only day we have off and the majority of vets are closed weekends/sundays. We have been several times now and are beyond impressed with everything from the clean waiting area to pleasant receptionist. We were offered a tour after our first visit which was great. The facility is modern and clean. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Kewish. She is very informative, takes her time, and is great with our (nervous) pup. I would 100 perfect recommend this Vet to anyone! Its probably the farthest away vet from our house but will without a doubt continue to make the trip!

so since i got my puppy, we've been taking him here. this by far is the best hospital we've seen for pets. they are friendly and always willing to help. and it so happens that the owner/vet lives in my neighbourhood which i think is really handy! we got our puppy neutured from here which was also a good experience. they were willing to help over the phone, and in person for no charge at all. also, they've been really helpful when our dog had bumps all over his head. they gave him some medicine's, and in the next day, he was up and around again! im so glad i found a pet hospital that offers so many services. we've booked a boarding appointment with them for our dog to stay with them while we go on our vacation to hawaii. we would love to take him with us but of course hawaii has the no rabies situation and would not let any dogs in unless the dog goes through quarintine and etc. too much work for a small dog. im very happy with this place and hoping the experience will only get better!!

My pet was stolen from me from my ex, and since both our names were on file he was able to remove my name from the system apparently, even though I set up the file for MY pet. So after I found this out I demanded to have my name put back on file. The office then immediately calls the ex and informs him, yet I got no phone call when he removed my name. Common courtesy on my part was not given from this clinic and therefore I will never ever be back.

No integrity when it comes to keeping their word regarding promised discounts. They offer discount over the phone very clearly, during more then one conversation. Then once i get there it all changes and they act like it was never offered. I felt very much judged on my income level rather then being welcomed as a potentially new client for my two dogs.The Dr. was always disregarding my concerns regarding vaccinations and interrupting me when I spoke.No real positive connection towards my puppies. Just acted like it was a duty and they were more like objects.Never once did I witness a smile from any staff members nor the Dr. Not a comfortable place to visit. Very expensive too!

I love all the staff at ellerslie pet hospital. They are always kind, friendly, and helpful. I've been taking my cat here for over a year and when my sister adopted her cat she also started going. The facility is clean and organized and the hours are great, 8-8 and open on weekends. Both doctors are very caring with my cat, he's not exactly friendly, and never once made me feel like a horrible person or cat abuser for the questions I asked, like the previous vet I went to. It's great to drop my cat off in the morning for a procedure and be able pick him up after work knowing that he is getting excellent care. Thank you everyone at ellerslie pet hospital .

I have been a client of Ellerslie Pet Hospital for a little while now. I recently adopted a 6 months old kitten from SPCA that had some form of URI. Both Dr.Kewish and Dr. Park listened to my concerns and provided me with different things I could do at home to help my "little gal" get better. They were not pushing for antibiodics or trying to sell me on running extra test. I find the staff to be friendly and their availability is great! Dr.Kewish even offered to monitor my cat at their facilities for a few hours at no cost! As well Dr.Park told me if problem persist to just give her a call. I would strongly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeble and helpful vet clinic :)

I am a recent customer of Ellerslie Pet Hospital and i find, they have excellent customer, service both DR Park and Dr kewish are both knowledgable and friendly i would HIGHLY recommend anyone who needs any type of vetrinary help this is the place to go. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat and i have been there numerous times and they are very professional and caring about the welfare of my "kids".

This vet clinic is, in my opinion, the best in Edmonton. I have had pets for years, thus been to most clinics around Edmonton, and have never encountered a vet clinic that was so completely devoted to the well being of the pets. They genuinely care about the animal, not the profit. They did what was necessary to assist my dog, never inflating the price, as many clinics are known to do, in fact, where they could help decrease costs, they did. The owners themselves took in my dog for one week when he desperately needed constant monitoring and special care, and watched over him in a way that only a truly devoted and loving person could. I would recommend them to EVERYBODY, as they will not only help your pet, but als take the time to help you as well. When I couldn't understand what was happening with my dog, Kate sat with me for over 1 hour helping me to understand what was going on. I have taken all my pets here since it opened, they have been incredibly supportive of my choices in treatment and gone above and beyond in helping me and my "family", especially during one of my dogs illness and eventually passing. Dr. Kewish is amazing and her staff is incredible! I am incredibly grateful to have found this vet!

I have been taking my dog to Ellerslie Pet Hospital since it opened and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff is very helpful and professional. I also use their boarding services when I am away and my dog always comes home clean and happy. I trust Dr. Kewish and her staff and have recommended them to all of my family and friends.

I have been going to Ellerslie Pet Hospital since they opened almost 2 years ago. I have never had anything but positive experiences with Dr. Kewish and the staff. Dr. Kewish recently did dental surgery on my dog and I would like to say Thank you to Dr. Kewish and the staff for the great care they took of my animal and the follow up care we received. I would not take my pet anywhere else!

Staff shared our pets information with other clients and the information about the treatment provided was by no means accurate. We will never take any of our animals there again simply because of the lack of professionalism.
