We have been bringing our dogs here for over 15 years. The vets and staff are kind, very up on new information and have never given us bad advice. Good, practical family vets who really get to know you, the family and your pets. Highly recommended. Grateful we have them to depend on.

I do not recommend Dr. Souccar. She lacks compassion and also pushes using her vet food.

i asked for flea medication and they wouldn't give it without an exam. my dog is young and healthy and didn't need an exam. so they choose not to give the treatment and to leave it without protection . is it all about money today???

We had never experienced such wonderful care and compassion until we began going to The Boardwalk Animal Hospital. Throughout the years, our two dogs were treated incredibly well. The staff, professional, kind and just lovely to deal with. Dr. James Young and all the staff treated him with such care and love you would have thought Charlie was their dog. Sadly we just said our final goodbye to Charlie and everyone at the hospital has helped us through this time of sadness. I would highly recommend Boardwalk Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a clinic that offers a wealth of knowledge, friendliness and respect.

Having recently moved to Toronto from Vancouver, leaving a vet who was much-loved by our dogs for many years, we were nervous about finding a new vet. Boardwalk was recommended to us and we have not been disappointed. Saw Dr. Woodward for an evening appointment and couldn't fault the service or the price. All the staff are attentive, compassionate and treat all their patients like VIPs. Thank you Boardwalk.

Dr. James Young is a very supportive, caring and gentle vet. My experience with him and the staff at the Boardwalk Animal Hospital has been consistently positive.

Dr. Young was really nice and attentive. For an emergency the all team was super professional. The lady at the reception was super nice and made me relax a little. The only down side is the price. But in my opinion veterinary is a very expensive expense in Canada. Although I must say that I have shop around and I think the prices for the Beaches is good.

Dr. Young is fantastic--compassionate, easy to talk to, and clearly an animal-lover. Dr. Souccar is another story. She was gruff with our cat, seemingly unconcerned that he was in pain every time she pulled and prodded his limbs. Bewilderingly for us, and painfully for the cat, she also repeated the process, making him suffer twice. We were very upset with her behaviour. She was also persistent about buying food from their clinic.

I had to bring in my cat today as it wasn't feeling so well. The doctor was so compassionate and helpful and made me and my cat feel a lot better. Everyone working there is so friendly and kind.I would strongly recommend this clinic!!

Love the Hospital staff. Great care for my animals and everyone is very concerned and helpful with my pets.The doctor's were awesome and helped me in making tough decisions.

Very expensive. Dr Young is very polite, communicative and attentive. But the female vet doctors are condescending and judgmental; they do not explain issues well. Eventually we changed vet office.

Dr. Young is excellent. He is patient, responds to questions and he cares about the pet. Not sure about his partner. You feel rushed and will spend when you take one of our pets in to see her. We have a new puppy and are going elsewhere. The snotty attitude of Majda sealed it.

I had no problem with the care of my animals, but I found the vet very condescending each time I went in, everything from questioning the type of food I was feeding my dog (Orijen - they had never heard of it) to rolling her eyes when I asked about a natural remedy a medical doctor had suggested to me. This was several years ago and things may have changed, but I wouldn't bother trying them again.

Very good vet. Figured out the problem fast.However,very expensive and focused on the money.I had no beef with the effort but it was the highest vet bill I every had for a case of flees. Just about $350.00 Then she told me she could have recommended many tests and had all my money out on the table right away. What a thing to say. Not too swift. Several other vets in the area who are good and more reasonable in cost.
