Dr. Jason McLeod and his team are Excellent! We took our 12 year old family dog into McLeod and his team for a surgery procedure a while ago. Our dog has a heart condition so we were concerned with how she would handle the surgery, but McLeod and his team were exceptional and took extremely good care of her before, during and after the procedure. We are very grateful for their professional and upmost caring service! The facilities were amazing and we found the cost to be quite reasonable! I would highly recommend any of their clinics to anyone! We are lucky to have such great animal care in Muskoka! Thank you for everything! ?

We have been taking our pets to Algonquin Animal Hospital for over 18 years. We trust Dr. Jason completely - he and his team have always provided the best care, and have always taken the time to answer questions, and discuss options when we have had to deal with illness. We would not go anywhere else!!!

Staff member Mcleod was less than professional when dealing with my dog. I hate writing a bad review but I dont want what happened to us happen to another family. At the very least request another staff member.

Excellent staff and service. I can't wait for the new clinic to open it looks fantastic. Wouldn't trust my dog to anyone else, Dr. McLeod is absolutely the best.

I have been with this pet hospital for many years. I can agree that Dr. McLeod is excellent. He strives very hard to provide top notch medicine all the time. Contrary to what is said below, I feel the staff are amazing and always have been. There are a few new doctors that are a welcome addition to those that are no longer there. I would recommend this hospital as the best in the area.

I was a coop student at the Algonquin animal hospital so I saw everything behind the scenes. Dr.Amy Jewis and Dr. Jason Macleod were awesome. However, Dr. Trish is very pushy. When she wants you to do something she's very aggressive about it. Vet tech Erin was VERY inpatient and aggressive with the animals. When taking blood she would get very agitated when the animal was moving and use unnecessary force. It was a poisonous and awkward environment most of the time because all the vet techs disliked Dr.trish (and I could see why) so they would never want to do anything for her so stuff wasn't getting done. The vet techs did not make me feel welcome at all, but more like a bother, and they just had me do the dirty work. One good thing I could say is that when it comes to surgeries, they are thorough in making sure everything was sterile. In summary, I would NOT recommend this hospital for your pet. Which is a shame because dr.jewis and dr.McLeod were great but their team was horrible.

have been a client for years with many pets. As other clinics come to the area, this clinic continues to excel in all regards. Dont know why someone would rate them poorly. They are great, compassionate and super caring. we have had many difficult medical problems and they always figure things out without being coersive in any regard. The staff are the most wonderful we have ever met!
