Jai at the front desk is awesome. She is friendly and you can tell she really cares about animals. The Vet. Dr. H on the other hand...I question why he is even a vet. He seems annoyed by animals, is not gentle with them and is VERY unfriendly. Each appointment lasts about 25 seconds and they slap a huge bill on it.I DO NOT recommend.

Excellent care and service for my cats. I felt they really cared and went out of their way to explain the health of my two little guys. I won't take my cats anywhere else.

I was very impressed by the professionalism and skill displayed by the staff at Bayview Animal Hospital. My two new puppies had been quite a handful but the Bayview team has helped a lot with tips about their training and nutrition. Very thorough and it's obvious that they really care

Was not impressed at all! Came with my Dog with an eye infection. Dr. Heffernan saw him for 5 minutes, perscribed an ointment and urged us to go to a specialist the next day, which we did - for that we paid $190(!). The specialist did not at all think this was an emergency and perscribed the dog with antibiotic drops.

The associated staff are very friendly. Dr Heffernan is very pushy about expensive treatments and hardly takes any time to check the dog (even though they charge you 65+ for medical check). They pushed to have my dog stay overnight, then I discovered they dont have overnight staff - so he would have been better off at home with me. I just felt that overall the vet really wanted you to choose the most expensive (not necessarily the best) route. I changed to another vet.

My experience at this clinic was not very impressive. The vet (Dr. Heffernan) actually only came into the room with the animal for about 5 minutes each visit and hardly speaks to you. They seem to push every expensive procedure and will go ahead with treatments without consulting you (or in my case giving vaccinations that we had together decided were not necessary for an indoor cat). They will split up appointments that could be done at once so you need to pay two exam fees (about $75 each). Overall was not impressed and changed vets for my new pet. They were not cruel or anything like that, just too pushy and money-oriented.
