They show no compassion or warmth when it is needed most. We were left to seek help elsewhere because both doctors were "too busy" to explain what the diagnosis was for our poor little dog. They sent us home with no real understanding of what was wrong and what may have caused the problem. We were told to put him down and given no guidance on why it was best to do so. I'm shocked at the lack of compassion in this clinic. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE!!

Although this clinic is relatively inexpensive, in the veterinary industry you typically get what you pay for. This vet LOST a cat one of our adopters took in and the said that it jumped through the screen of an open window, even though it had a catheter stitched in place and an e-collar on it's head. Despite losing the cat, the vet is refusing the help search for it, or allow any of her staff to do so on company time. She is also refusing to allow anyone to view the security video of the incident, which might allow the owner some idea of which wa the cat went and where to search. So far, over 50 volunteers have donated hundreds of hours of their time searching for this pet. My only regret is that there is nothing in the rating system above which allows someone to address this type of situation, where the clinic staff are all fine but the vet is the problem.

I have used this vet for years but same as previous posts, once my dog was a senior very poor care. When she hurt herself they didn’t even return our call asking for emergency visit. When she started having problems walking took her in and they told me sorry had a mild stroke and can’t do anything. Should have got a second opinion as there were several options for treatment. She started to have problems standing called to see vet for help. Receptionist didn’t care and said sorry can’t see her for 3 days. Took her her to emergency and found out options if had of done sooner. But to far advanced at that point and my dog passed away. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE!!!!

I was a loyal customer and when my cat needed immediate emergency treatment, I was told sorry we are on lunch now. Never returned and never will.

The staff and doctors at this clinic are amazing.. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been going to Dr. Clark for a number of years and have always found her warm approach to the care of my dog very refreshing. She has a very kind and quiet manner to her that puts my dog as well as myself at ease. I highly recommend Sharon Vet clinic to all of my friends and family with pets!!!

Absolutely the best vet clinic in the GTA!!! I have been going here for years and would never consider going anywhere else. The clinic is in a old century home which has lots of interesting history and character, unlike many of the new "cookie- cutter" clinics. I have compared prices of many local clinics and none compare to the incredible value you get here. The staff are amazing and really go above and beyond to care for your fur family. Dr. Clark is in a class all her own! She is very kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and it is extremely evident that she loves her job. She takes her time to really know each of her patients and their families, and really feels like a part of the family. My dog Amo gets so excited in the waiting room just waiting for Dr. Clark. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place other than to just tell you to go and experience it yourself. After all there is obviously a reason why it wins the local reader's choice award year after year!

There should be a higher rating scale just for this clinic!
I am very familiar with Sharon vet clinic- Its upsetting reading the negative posts as far too many people are quick to write an opinionated review these days when sitting behind a screen, I know everyone is entitled to their opinions but at the end of the day it should be about your pets health and making sure they receive the best care possible.
This clinic has an incredible reputation that Dr Clarke has worked very hard to build- she has clients that have been coming to her since her early days of operation and even second generations go to her because of her exceptional care and affordable pricing.
Dr Clarke is one of a kind- she truly cares about all her fur-clients and is very compassionate. She is very knowledgeable and experienced and is always willing to answer any questions you may have.
If you’re looking for exceptional care, knowledgeable staff and a place that will always put your pets first then look no furth

I have been going to see Dr.Clark for years. I love the welcoming atmoshphere of the old building and friendly faces. This place is truly one of a kind. It is clear that Dr.Clark loves her job and all of the animals she treats. I went in with both of my dogs recently for a teeth cleaning. One of my dogs had a couple lumps that needed to be removed. She even cut their nails while they were under (which was wonderful because my little dog has a lot of anxiety getting her nails cut). Dr.Clark saw that I was emotional about leaving my dogs for minor survey so she went above and beyond to reassure me that everything would be alright. I would never imagine going anywhere else. I truly love the Sharon Veterinary Clinic and highly recommend them for your pets.

I have been coming here for years with both my dogs. I recently brought my female dog here to be spayed they cut her nails without my permission and have caused serious damage. I am disgusted. They are so short, she is in a lot of pain. I can tell because she very aggressive if you go near her paws the nails are cracking all up the side and the kwik is exposed.. How they got it to stop bleeding is beyond me this is the worst I've ever seen and I'm not just saying that because I am upset. We will not be going back in 7 days to get her stitches out we are going else where. I am flabbergasted that this could happen. Where was the supervision ? Once one was cut short why continue on the other paws nails aswell? I know how critical it is to cut a dogs nails properly, they defiantly did not need any clipping when I brought her in as I do her nails at home. I have before and after pictures. This is not sitting well with me and something needs to be done. Please don't bring your dog here.

I hate to leave a bad review but after being a loyal customer for years when it was time to say goodbye to my bean (who was in acute severe distress) they told me I could have an appmt in three weeks wtf!!! 4 months prior I had spent over 1000 on her and they managed to find time within a week is it just that the profit is not there for euthanasia? Seriously!! or was it that they wanted to leave early (long weekend ahead) not impressed go somewhere else even if it costs a little more!

The staff have always been wonderful. They explain options and do not try to up sell procedures. The times I have had to wait for an appointment tended to be when something had happened to the animal prior and the vet was giving the client time to say goodbye. They do not rush appointment time. They take the time to listen.

facility really needs updating and the over upkeep is not healthy. Over booked and appointment times generally take over two weeks. Staff can be so rude on the phone.

Dealt with two very compassionate vets for my sick kitty. Very reasonable prices, so I didn't mind returning for another visit (first blood work was good, then two weeks later she had a fever). Options are outlined and they are non-judgmental of your decisions. Staff were professional and courteous.

My family has been bringing our dogs here for over 20 years. I must say we have had hit and miss experiences over the years. The staff change very frequently. It gets annoying. The only good thing about that is that when one of them is rude or incompetent, they aren't around for long. The clinic is an old farm house, fine for a vet's office. They are on time about 50% of the time, however they squeeze dogs in for emergencies, so that puts them behind. Understandable, I have been on the other side of that situation when they squeezed my sick dog in. What I have discovered over the years: ALWAYS SEE DR CLARK IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY. They other vet is fine for routine things, but she misdiagnosed two of my dogs, on different occasions. One of them died. Dr Clark is the owner, so if you have an issue, address it with her (nicely!). She is quiet, good with the animals and her prices are FANTASTIC. Our surgery charges have always come in under the quoted price.

Have been going there for a few yrs because per visit rate is a bit lower, but you get what you pay for. Service is so poor! I actually booked an appt because my dogs ears were bad & I ran out of his reg "Ottomax". They told me I might have to see the vet for a prescription as it had been over a year (fair), & so I booked asking to get the flea meds at the same time on the day before the long weekend as I am going away with the dog. Well I arrive to a packed office, get my flea stuff & am told they can't give me a prescript I have to see the vet who is too busy (huh!), they didn't have me down for checking ears(huh?). Although bitter I book an appt for next week but over the night my dogs ears have gotten much worse and so I call back asking for them to squeeze me. They won't. BUT my appointment was really yesterday, and you screwed up and my dog is not in some distress, ..."sorry" . Honestly, the extra $15 for exam fees is worth going ELSEWHERE. the Vet is "ok| but the staffing, brutal

I never go to great lengths to complain about customer service, but I need to let your clinic and others know of the awful experience I received at your vet clinic today. An appointment was made to put down my 14yr old family dog today and when I and my sister entered your clinic, we were ignored and rudely were given attitude by your staff, (by one girl in particular). We were clearly crying and have not gone through this experience before. This rude vet tech, rushed through weighing our dog, going through the fees, and I WAS NOT comfortable AT ALL. She was making the experience so much worse, in fact, we up and left with our dog. I would never of let my dog rest in such a horrible place. I suggest she gets a different job because she clearly does not have the heart for a vet tech. NEVER will I go to Sharon Vet again and will forever give my bad review to others.

Excellent, friendly staff! I am a new pet mom, and I have been welcomed and treated very well...all my questions were answered. More importantly, my puppy loves going to the vet. She always is happy and excited to see everyone. The rates and facilities are also super! I highly recommend Sharon Veternary Clinic!!!

They are so compassionate and caring. I travel 10 miles just to go there. Dr. Segall is very knowledgeable and doesn't do treatments just to raise his price. I would highly recommend them.

I've been going there for years; left when I moved further north - big mistake - came right back and will continue going there as long as they are there! The best care for my animals is at Sharon Vet's.

Had a great experience with a seasoned vet who was efficient, caring and didn't charge exorbitant fees. She didn't try to sell me up on products and respected my views. What a change from other vets in the area. She did her own examinations, meaning I didn't have to go through a vet tech first only to have the same thing done again by the vet. My time and pocketbook were valued as well as my dog. Hurrah for an honest, caring vet!
