Dr Hamilton is an amazing doctor.loving caring and extremely knowledgeable. My dog Jimmy was not eating and vomiting, dr Hamilton took an amazing care oof him. I called doctor Hamilton a few times and he didn't care all he wanted is for my Jimmy to get well.i feel my baby is in good hands I recommend dr.hamilton to everyone. Dr.hamilton YOU ROCK!

We love our pets like children. When we have to take them to the doctor we want a trusted caring professional that totally understands our concerns. Dr. Hamilton is that person. He was able to squeeze my dog's visits into his busy schedule and provide calm knowledgeable information while investigating the problem. I believe many vets try to take advantage of our heightened emotional state and offer unnecessary services with inflated costs for their financial gain. This is not the case at the Courtice Pet Clinic, where the rates are very reasonable and much reduced from what I know I would have paid elsewhere. Thank you Michael!

Dr Hamilton and staff are wonderful. My Marley actually wags his tail when we walk in which he never did with other vets. Dr Hamilton is caring and patient, listens, asks questions and always explains things thoroughly. I drive 30 min to go here, there is dozens of vets I could go to that are closer. I drive the distance because I trust Dr Hamilton with my dogs care!

We found out a kitten needed a forever home through a friend. We met Boomer (our kitten) at the Courtice Pet Clinic and Dr. Michael. He and his team have been wonderful taking care of Boomer. The visits and surgery were handled very well and can't thank them enough for their efforts.

Dr. Hamilton and his staff are amazing with my cat. She is a very nervous cat and has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Hamilton is so kind and gentle and does his best to put her at ease. His prescribed treatment has worked well and he explains everything along the way. They are always on time

I will NEVER return to Dr. Hamilton’s clinic after he over charged me for treatment he never gave my pet. The Courtice Pet Clinic failed to properly treat my guinea pig after being kept or three days in their cage, returning him to me in worse condition than I dropped him off in. Due to the horrid care he received, he was euthanized after going through a week of failed ‘treatment’, after he became skin and bones, too weak to lift his own head or walk. I’m not the only one he’s scammed out of money, he’s also done it to other family members and our friends.

We have 2 dogs seen by Dr. Hamilton and both he and his staff have been amazing. Unfortunately our smallest passed away suddenly following a neutering process which absolutely devastated our family. Dr Hamilton and his team once again were most kind during this time - appropriate and understanding.

One word....AMAZING....Dr Hamilton is the most amazing vet and my dogs love him, he is very thorough, explains everything to you and never rushes you out the door, his staff are fantastic, very welcoming and knowledgeable. They give a estimate of costs for everything and their prices are very, very reasonable. I highly recommend Courtice Pet Clinic and I will never take my dogs anywhere else.

I have a very nervous dog who absolutely HATES going to the vet. Unfortunately he had a really nasty eye infection which could have left him blind in one eye. I can only say that Dr. Hamilton and his staff were the most compassionate and lovely with our dog. He didn't bark, growl and snap any of the 3 times we were there and in under a month. They made him feel at ease and brought him back to health. Their rates were very reasonable too. I had called other vets in the area and they estimated the cost of treatment to be much more. I will never take my pets anywhere else!

Dr. Hamilton was the most compassionate vet we have ever worked with. We had an emergency with our cat that another vet handled very poorly. Dr. Hamilton took over our cat's care and made us feel a million times better about the situation. He showed so much sensitivity and extra care for our little girl. We are so glad we found The Courtice Pet Clinic and we will continue to bring all of our pets here in the future. The staff is all very lovely and always make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We highly recommend this clinic if you want to have high quality care!

Dr.Hamilton is the best vet!! my 2 pets really hate going to the vet and grooming places. BUT with DR. Hamilton they were very calm and content.

We have been going to the Courtice Pet Clinic for almost 10 years. We have found Dr. Hamilton and the staff (Karen and Jennifer) very pleasant, caring and helpful at all times. Dr. Hamilton is patient, has never rushed us to make decisions and never provided services without our agreement. All of our experiences have been positive from annual check ups to emergencies. We also had to take 2 of our senior cats when it was time due to illness that could no longer be treated. Dr. Hamilton is very compassionate and we would recommend this clinic. Reading the negative comments was a shock to us as we have never been treated this way and have never seen this type of behaviour when we have been in the office. We will continue to be clients.

Went there for inexpensive thoughts. They pretended our cat had fleas so we formed out more money in worry. Never go here they are dishonest and useless. You have been warned.

The doctors and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They are very thorough, explaining everything before doing anything. They gave us an estimate before doing anything. They took care of our dog very well through her puppy years and unfortunately also at the end. They were there for her and our family at that very sad time. Their prices are fair and their care is the best, always having time for our numerous questions. We are entrusting our new puppy's health care to them as well.

Staff is rude, it took over 20min to pay because the receptionist was on a personal call. We had just adopted a new dog from a shelter, he had all of his shots before we got him. Just to be safe we took him in to be checked out, the vet gave him all of his shots again! Didn't even ask just stuck a needle in him. So within a week my dog was given a double dose.

I have been going to Courtice Pet Clinic for years with many pets. I imagine it is possible to have caught some people on a bad day, however, I have never encountered a problem with any of the Doctors or staff at this clinic. I have and will entrust the care of my pets to them always.

After reading some of these great reviews I decided to call and make an appointment. Not only was I rudely cut off by the receptionist, I was then placed on hold for over 6 minutes. Instant turn off from this clinic.

Clean facilities, appointments are kept on-time, costs seem high, however, other vets are certainly higher. Vet medicine is expensive, its something we need to accept. I prefer this clinic because they are great with my dog, don't push expensive "add-on" services, and treat my animals with respect and utmost care. My dog had a serious illness, stayed at the clinic for 3 days, major services required. The bill was reasonable.

I have been going to this clinic for almost 4 yrs. I've read the comments (especially negative) and can't imagine they are talking about the same place. Dr. Hamilton, Karen, Karen, and Jennifer are the most caring people I've met. They are always willing to speak to you on the phone or in person if you have any questions. My cat has always had the best care and never have I felt pressured to have any unnecessary treatments done in fact just the opposite. They are very understanding that it can be costly at the vet and are willing to work with you to come up with the best solution. I have an aging cat who will need to be put to sleep soon and I've received nothing but sympathy caring and understanding of what a hard decision that is to make. I would and have highly recommended Courtice Pet Clinic as a great place to go.Thanks guys keep up the good work! Janet and Mouser

Rude receptionist! I recently moved into the area, called in for some information and asked them to call my old vet for history transfer. The receptionist who answered the phone...talk about rude! Her attitude problem just stopped my visit on the phone, I'm not going to bother stepping through the door of this clinic to deal with that crap attitude! Longer drive to my old vet is worth more than this.

Dr. Hamilton. Karen, Jennifer, and the rest of the staff are excellent. I have been taking my dogs, cats, and ferrets to Dr. Hamilton for over 15 years, initially at another clinic in Don Mills, and now I drive an hour Courtice. My pets have always received excellent care, Dr. Hamilton is knowledgeable, caring, and always explains the diagnosis, and all the options without pressuring you into expensive decisions like other clinics I have previously been too. His clinic is spotless, he is an excellent surgeon, and the staff are friendly, caring and organized. I highly recommend the Courtice Pet Clinic!

Dr. Hamilton and his staff are amazing. They know my 2 dogs and 1 cat very well. He has an amazing personality and does not rush my high spirited dog. He gives her time to settle down before the examination begins. All of his staff are very friendly and helpful. On the occasions when my fur babies have been sick, we have had calls 2-3 days after our visit to see how they are doing. 1 give Dr. Hamilton & staff a 10/10.

Terrible - steer clear of this place - brought my cat in with a watery eye. The first visit they gave me cream which I applied as prescribed. (200 dollars for that visit) After two weeks no change. Took my cat back, and this timewas prescribed antibiotics and told she had a tooth problem (she never let on anything was wrong and I didn't see anything) and told shed need surgery which he was only too happy to rush it through for Monday (brought her in on the Friday) - surprise surprise... This visit cost me another 200 bucks and the promise of another 500 for the impending surgery. Needless to say I never returned. My cat's eye hasn't gotten any better, now I must shell out yet more money to take her somewhere else. Absolute waste of money! Plus, they never let me be with her when they took her to "check her out"... Unreal.

Dr. Hamilton and the staff at Courtice Pet Clinic are amazing. I have been taking my dogs to see Dr. Hamilton for the past 5 yrs and they are just great. Regretfully, in the past year we had to say goodbye to 2 aging dogs and the staff were very supportive and compassionate in helping us to make the most difficult decision a pet owner will make. We readily entrusted the care of our new dog to Dr. Hamilton and the staff at Courtice Pet Clinic!

He is an absolutely excellent doctor! The staff is fast,and cheerful,so is he. Everyone knows what they are talking about! This doctor really has a way with animals......they love him! And most importantly, they are patient, and do not force you to go for something unnecessary for your pet, just to waste money. He is also very knowledgeable and performs surgeries and everything very very well! This place is highly recommended!!:):):)
