my dog got an abscess on her foot. It had already popped and I was keeping it clean, but I though antibiotics were in order, so I brought her in. They presented me with an estimate of $700 for surgery. I told them it was a little steep and asked if I could just get antibiotics, but they refused and insisted on surgery. Whatever. That was last Thursday. I brought her in on Monday to have the drain removed and although the doctor said it looked great and was healing, they charged me another $80 to pack it with antibiotics to prevent infection. Now it’s wednesday and her foot has swollen to 3x the size of the other foot and is worse than when I brought her in. I will NOT Be taking her back to them.
