DO NOT bring an injured animal of any type into this joint. They'll just prod you to see how much money they can get out of you (who can afford 870$ to treat a feral you find on the road, who's face is bashed all to hell???). At one time they would take animals who were injured, and simply ask for a donation. No more. They're looking to get every last nickel they can out of someone. There's a place in Linwood (did I spell that right) near Atlantic City, and also in Red Bank (Monmouth County) that takes injured strays, turtles, etc. I can't speak for Linwood (not yet) but Red Bank Veterinarian Hospital seems to be the place to go. I had to drive this poor cat up there yesterday, after getting hit w/an office visit fee from Stafford ?? TOLD them from the getgo I was unemployed and didn't have much money to spare - didn't matter). The people are in general unpleasant, and as so often is the case in South Jersey, "hungry" and suspicious of everyone and everything. Find somewhere else to go
