Greenwich Vet Clinic Is a clinic I will never call again. If I could give it a rating, it would be the worst I was allowed to deliver. Oct. 12, 2023, I called to see if they could help me with my elderly distressed cat, which I had spayed at their clinic in 2008. Their question to me was, "When was the last time she was in for a check-up?" My reply, "She has been an indoor cat & never sick, so had no need to bring her in." Their reply, "Oh, it would be "weeks" before we could see her." Really?? Not acceptable! Not one bit of compassion at this clinic. People need to hear how heartless they are, when their pet needs care. I would travel miles elsewhere for pet care, rather then give them a penny of my money. My animals are family & no one gets to be so ignorant, without receiving the worst review I can give, on line. I was totally heart broken in this situation & they couldn't care less! Shows me, they don't care about your animal or you.

This is without a doubt the worst veterinary clinic in all of Nova Scotia! The staff there are very unprofessional and rude to say the least. I believe it must be a very unhappy and toxic work place for the staff to be so ignorant and unpleasant to pet owners. It appears the staff there are more interested in brow beating pet owners than focusing on the well being of the patient!

This veterinarian is only in it for the money. Misdiagnoses, no bedside manner for human or feline, overpriced compared to others. I haven't been to her for years since she misdiagnosed not one, but two of my beloved cats within the span of a year, and had less compassion for them or me than a piece of paper. If I could give her zero ratings I would do. She is the kind of veterinarian that gives others a bad name.

My dog was in distress and as this clinic was closest I took her there , the vet who saw her only seemed to care that she had to be there late at night and getting paid .I usually would have dealt with Cornwallis and when the decision had been made to have Gabby put down wished I had left and taken her to Cornwallis ,the vet made sure she had payment first gave her one shot and hustled us out the door, never gave us any time with her.I feel so bad as Gabby did not deserve such a cold impersonal treatment, I would never recommend this clinic and will never take another animal there ever

I brought my 7 year old papillon to be checked out over a diarrhea issue. The vet didn't introduce herself to me or my dog, and promptly went for my dog's mouth before I could inform her that my dog is uncomfortable with that. Naturally, my dog freaked out. The vet scruffed her and pinned her down before leaving and coming in with a rope. She tied my dog's mouth shut. When my dog's tongue went blue, I demanded it be taken off and we left. At least we weren't charged, but I am going to file a formal complaint.

Worst vet ever. She knocked my cat on the floor, threw a towel over her and grabbed her by the throat. The vet tried to subdue her be banging her on the floor and snarling at her. At no time did she even try to calm the cat down. Overall the rudest and most ignorant person I have encountered, ever. They should not be in business. Cost me $60 and 2weeks later my cat is still in pain from the rough handling. All I got for my money was a more severely traumatized cat. If you care for your petsx at all take them somewhere else. This vet hates animals.

The front desk staff at this clinic are wonderful, with a special shout out to Cindy. If you own a dog, this place will do wonders for you. I've had more than one go to this clinic and they were always treated well. That being said, I've also had a cat go here, and whether the vet simply hates felines, or whatever the case may be, their treatment of the animal simply was not the same. The cat, who has never demonstrated physical or vocal aggression was not only aggressively handled by the scruff of her neck, but was slammed repeatedly (I can't make this up) on the clinic table in an attempt to subdue her. This was unacceptable, as this cat is social, and wants nothing more than to be around humans. It was her first ever time to a vet, and she was deemed to be a "devil cat". There was no attempt made to get to know the cat before ripping her out of her kennel. I can only hope this was an isolated situation, but it is what it is.

When our 2 yr old Rough Coat Jack developed a limp, Dr's Suzanne Kennedy & Carla Mackenzie wasted no time in diagnosing her tumor in the left femar three weeks following the initial visit Caper had and amputaion of her leg. The tender loving care provided by all at the clinic saw our precious girl through her surgery having her return home on Christmas Eve. Six day later she is up and well on the road to recovery. I you are looking for the best care for your four legged family we could not imagine a better Clinic. Thanks to the wonderful Angels of Mercy for our Christmas Miracle. Ken, Cheryl, Ginger & Caper...The Laytons.
