Had been a client for over 15 years but now looking for another vet instead. Used to be a great clinic but now are money hungry, sales sales sales, and the "fear certified" is total bs - just another marketing scam. My pet came out of the back area more petrified than he was going in and the vet Sandra was not gentle bringing him back into the room. I commented and my concern was totally shrugged off. Clearly not interested in client relations and nothings ever their fault.

rushed our aged rabbit to the facility fearing he was in the process of having a stroke. The intent was maybe that there could be a medical intervention. Upon arriving at the clinic the rabbit went straight in.
Less than 1 total minute of examination confirmed that the rabbit had died.........then the $90 charge came........seriously.
People should be compensated for their professional time but any charge to look at an animal and confirm that it is dead and do nothing more, tells you a whole lot about what motivates this particular business. Wife and son paid the bill on the spot; you are so distraught in that moment, you cannot even react to what seems so opportunistic.
A phone call could not clear up the situation. An offer to drop it to $50 by providing a CREDIT for the next visit totally missed the point and is a clear indication of the intent to rake their clients at every turn.

Our vet Sandra is the most kindest person I have met she has been our vet for 15yrs we are so pleased with the service and staff never to busy to answer your questions always happy to see you treats your pet as it was there own we trust them completely with are dogs and cat would never dream of changing vets have recommended them to many friends are thanks to all at watzin veterinary clinic

We love the staff at watzins. They are always friendly and helpful and they handle are excessively hyper lab really well! We would definitely recommend this vet clinic.

First we have 1 cat and 2 dogs. We lost our Fluffy (Persian cat) earlier this year (old age). I cannot emphasize the compassion that Dr. Sandra Watzin & the Lab Tec demonstrated. Our Fluffy had a wonderful passing. I am 100% confident in the services that are provided at Watzin Veterinary Clinic.

Thank you to Dr. Watzin and the amazing clinic staff who provided so much support to us as we made the very difficult decision to put down our wonderful, gentle and sweet Alice. The information that you gave us to help us with the grieving process is helping immensely.

We've had many problems with our dog , the first was Addison's disease witch no other vet could diagnose but Dr Watzin did and she got her on medication for it everyone else thought we'd have to put her down , that was about 6 years ago . Recently we had to have dental surgery on her and the doctor was right she's a totally different dog , she's acting like a puppy again . From the friendly staff to the knowledgable doctors I'd highly recommend Watzins . The dog is about 10 years old now with a new lease on life thanks to Dr watzin.

My trips to this vet clinic are always please because of the friendly and kindness of the staff. I have faith in the care my pet receives and appreciate that we are included in the choices of pet care decision being made.

Staff are always very friendly and answer questions effectively. We have two dogs and a cat that go for regular checkups, nail trims and food. We love the environment and the commitment the staff put into their jobs !

used to take my dog there ,my dog developed a tumour .dr watzin just assumed it was fat she did nothing ! it turned out to be cancer .I was told by a good vet that if it was checked early it could have been cut out.in the end I had to put my dog down .terrible doctor .

I have been a client of Watzins since their opening. I got a rescue dog and in two days her eye became white. Sandra was able to cure this immediately. She has given me diagnosis,offered current treatments options and alternatives to meet my budget. My female delivered 8 litters successfully. There has never been an exam or treatment offered where I felt she was not professional and always listed all treatment options available. She always left the final decisions up to me. I respect her abilities as my dogs have undergone surgery and there have never been complications. The staff were so compassionate when I lost my rescue to old age. You can never measure the best with just one meeting but she has never disappointed me yet.

Overall, Watzin is a good vet and it's a good clinic. Sometimes it feels like the vet is rushing in/out (in the door, quick exam, out the door) without alot of discussion. Overall it's a good clinic but would be better if the vet spent more time with the clients talking instead of rushing in/out. I know a re-check of a surgical cut don't take alot of time to do, or yearly shots or a general check up, but to spend another 10 minutes talking to us, would give a better impression that they care about our pet, instead of a quick 5 minute in/out appointment.

The staff come across as very nice and caring, but when they tell you something upsetting they are very blunt and rude. My dog has a stage 2 patella luxation. Watzins told me my dog needed surgery ASAP and to put him on pain medication immediately. I got many other opinions from specialty surgeons as well saying that putting him on pain medication is the worst thing i could have done and it is not a stage 2. My puppy is a year old, his knee has not came out since and he is happy as ever. Good thing I didnt spend $2,000 on his knee surgery. They did not do a very good examination. It eneded up costing me 300.00 to get his knee looked at. Every visit ended up being $200+ and they never told me what I was actually paying for. Such a disappointment.

I have been dealing with Watzin's for many years now. The clinic is clean and the staff are attentive to both customer and pet. I highly recommend this clinic.

Great clinic and staff! I visited my vet to repair a cut on my dog's leg - they told me it was going to be over $2000! My friend goes to Dr. Watzin and told me to go see her. Not only did she take awesome care of my dog, she and the staff were SO compassionate and I was charged LESS THAN HALF of what my original vet quoted!!! I've now transferred to Watzins FOR GOOD!

Took dogs to Watzins clinic re: yearly examinations. My dogs records were not transferred in time for the visit.Expressed concerns that they did not have the up to date vaccination records. Knew the dogs only needed their distemper shots and not rabbies. Expressed concerns and had lengthy discussion with Vet about revaccinating dogs if they had their rabbies shot last year.He confidently told us it was okay and the side affects were very rare. He assured us more than once that it was okay to give the rabbies shot even though we had grave concerns and expressed them clearly He basically talked us into vaccinating the dogs with the rabbies shot which they did not need. My chihuahua had an adverse reaction and almost went into anaphylactic shock.He became ill and had to be rushed to Emerg in the middle of the night. Our visit cost us double the amount it should have if the Vet had listened to us. Watzins did not cover the additional costs! So much for listening to our concerns!

If there is a way Watzin can milk more cash out of you, she will. We took our cat in there years ago. We asked in advance if we could take our kids in to visit him and they said "Okay, because he was doing fine." So we go in and the poor cat was half-dead in the cage. My kids were traumatized. I called the asst. in and get the excuse "We just checked him and he was fine". Yah. Right. By the time we made the 10-minute trip home, there was a message that we had to get back right away. I get there 5 min. later, and he's stretched on the table, oxygen tube in mouth, dying in front of me. So I made the call to have him put down. Prior to all of this, I made a deal with Watzin for $1000 if the cat was going to be okay. So he dies after our agreement, and now she wants $1200. I paid her $300 for the euthanasia and disposal and told her she was getting nothing more. Yah, she's got state of the equipt in there, but she doesn't pay for it. YOU DO!! This is a very short version of the story.
