Anima Plus Montee Paiement has always been our go-to vet clinic for our pets. Recently, they took exceptional care of our little angel on her last few days with dedication and dignity. To see this beautiful team work overtime so our cat would have a chance to make it out alive was very comforting to see. They kept us up updated every few hours on her state, brainstormed together and tried everything to save her.
From the beginning to the end, they showered our little Mia with love and care and we are forever grateful of their stellar work.
I couldn't recommend this place enough.

In february 2015,with..Amina+, I had my dog euthanized. Most traumatizing experience. They did not explain the proceedure, I did not expect my dog to suffer(spasm) when injected. It was rushed and done without compassion. They charged me extra for a catheter and tried to have me purchase a wooden urn for his cremation ($280.for carboard urn) by showing me a catalogue. I wanted SPCA Outaouais to pick my pet up and arrange cremation (at $200. wooden urn included) however I'm told they no longer deal with them and that I can leave with my pet's remains if I decide to go to SPCA. I wanted a compassionate end-of-life for my Snoopy, age 16 years old. I saw on news two late for Snoopy that a vet in Ottawa, Dr.Lianna Titcombe (Clare Place Mobile Veterinary Services) now comes to Gatineau for in-house euthanasia and they have a "Goodbye my Friend Fund" for owners unable to pay in-house euthanazia. Please consider this service for the sake of your loving pets and yourself.

had my dog fixed there. The price is much cheaper than in Ottawa, $500 approximately. I send my dog one day before the surgery. When I got my dog back, I found bruis on his nose and legs. I guess its because the cage is a little bit small, his legs crushed in the bars. Anyhow, my dog is very well.

A former colleague recommended going to Dr. Rheault to treat our diabetic dog. We have been going to Dr. Rheault for close to 5 years now and the service is excellent. We receive blood result phone calls from him after office hours. He is very dedicated. We travel from Kanata to see Dr. Rheault. He is definitely worth the extra distance. We hope he does not retire anytime soon. Great prices compared to Ottawa. We would highly recommend his services to others.

If this board is truly legitimate and about the customer, then my review is this: avoid this vet at all costs. I paid for an expensive taxi for my vet appt and brought my sick animal there only to find out that the vet office had been extremely misleading. Not only that, they were hostile and didnt care about my sick animal at all in a life threatening situation. I had to take it to another vet to save its life. The vet also will not speak English to you. I am in the process of reporting this vet to the licensing body because it is really wrong what they did.

Dr. Rheault has looked after our pets since I was a little girl. Now with my own pets I would never think about bringing them anywhere but to him. He is wonderful. Kind, compassionate, caring. I like that he remembers you, and and is very personal. He's the BEST!!

He has cared for all of my furry family members, both cats and dogs for many years and has provided excellent service and care for all, even during some sad times. He is utterly honest and can't be beat. Recommended to my friend a while back and she loves him as well. Awesome man with a heart of gold with both the animals and the owners in mind. Can't lose with him!!!
