Anima Plus Montee Paiement has always been our go-to vet clinic for our pets. Recently, they took exceptional care of our little angel on her last few days with dedication and dignity. To see this beautiful team work overtime so our cat would have a chance to make it out alive was very comforting to see. They kept us up updated every few hours on her state, brainstormed together and tried everything to save her.
From the beginning to the end, they showered our little Mia with love and care and we are forever grateful of their stellar work.
I couldn't recommend this place enough.

We went to Dr. Rheault for 10 years. In 2 visits, the new clinic destroyed our trust completely. Brought in a sick kitty. Incomplete blood work was done so large spectrum antibiotic was given. After a week, we went for a follow up since kitty was not improving. The vet was atroceousl told us there was nothing he could do (despite not knowing the cause) and walked out on us, after less than 5 minutes in the room. We went to a third vet and finally got a diagnosis, with proper medication. In the end our kitty passed away, but at least, he was no longer in pain, thanks to the proper diagnosis made by the last vet. Avoid Anima Plus at all costs.

In february 2015,with..Amina+, I had my dog euthanized. Most traumatizing experience. They did not explain the proceedure, I did not expect my dog to suffer(spasm) when injected. It was rushed and done without compassion. They charged me extra for a catheter and tried to have me purchase a wooden urn for his cremation ($280.for carboard urn) by showing me a catalogue. I wanted SPCA Outaouais to pick my pet up and arrange cremation (at $200. wooden urn included) however I'm told they no longer deal with them and that I can leave with my pet's remains if I decide to go to SPCA. I wanted a compassionate end-of-life for my Snoopy, age 16 years old. I saw on news two late for Snoopy that a vet in Ottawa, Dr.Lianna Titcombe (Clare Place Mobile Veterinary Services) now comes to Gatineau for in-house euthanasia and they have a "Goodbye my Friend Fund" for owners unable to pay in-house euthanazia. Please consider this service for the sake of your loving pets and yourself.

We had always brought our different dogs to dr.Rheault for many many years, he was a compassion caring man and great with people and animals, if there was nothing that could be done he would, gently, let you know. We have had 2 visits since it has changed ownership and will be looking for a new vet. While the staff are still great the new vets seem to be constantly on a money grab, they are constantly wanting you to pay for more tests, new tests. money money money, wouldn't recommend them

had my dog fixed there. The price is much cheaper than in Ottawa, $500 approximately. I send my dog one day before the surgery. When I got my dog back, I found bruis on his nose and legs. I guess its because the cage is a little bit small, his legs crushed in the bars. Anyhow, my dog is very well.

A former colleague recommended going to Dr. Rheault to treat our diabetic dog. We have been going to Dr. Rheault for close to 5 years now and the service is excellent. We receive blood result phone calls from him after office hours. He is very dedicated. We travel from Kanata to see Dr. Rheault. He is definitely worth the extra distance. We hope he does not retire anytime soon. Great prices compared to Ottawa. We would highly recommend his services to others.

Great vet. Didn't cost 2 much and got my cat healthy and looking good afterwards.They took my cat a night before needed because I couldn't get there early enough before her appointment and they didn't charge me extra. I've been going to see them with all my animals and I refer them to all my friends which afterwards told me how happy they our with him.

I have been going to Dr. Rheault with my pets for over 20 years. I have referred many of my friends there and everyone has thanked me for it. We all live in Ontario and it is well worth the trip. Added bonus is that he charges less than half what it costs in Ontario. I wouldn't bring my pets any where else.

If this board is truly legitimate and about the customer, then my review is this: avoid this vet at all costs. I paid for an expensive taxi for my vet appt and brought my sick animal there only to find out that the vet office had been extremely misleading. Not only that, they were hostile and didnt care about my sick animal at all in a life threatening situation. I had to take it to another vet to save its life. The vet also will not speak English to you. I am in the process of reporting this vet to the licensing body because it is really wrong what they did.

Dr. Rheault has looked after our pets since I was a little girl. Now with my own pets I would never think about bringing them anywhere but to him. He is wonderful. Kind, compassionate, caring. I like that he remembers you, and and is very personal. He's the BEST!!

He has cared for all of my furry family members, both cats and dogs for many years and has provided excellent service and care for all, even during some sad times. He is utterly honest and can't be beat. Recommended to my friend a while back and she loves him as well. Awesome man with a heart of gold with both the animals and the owners in mind. Can't lose with him!!!

This Vet is probably the most reliable, experienced and compassionate one in the region. He'll never steer you wrong or try to rob you for your buck! He's honest and will try to accommodate us the best way possible. He is great with animal, you can tell its his life's passion. He's been practicing for years, so he knows his stuff. He's also very flexible, considering how busy he is, he'll never turn down a patient. I don't know how he manages to work so hard like that.

La clinique du Dr.Rheault est très bien. J'habite du côté ontarien et je fais le voyage parce que c'est beaucoup moins cher! Le Dr. Rheault essaie toujours les solutions les plus simples et les moins dispendieuses d'abord. Il explique tout et répond à toutes les questions avec patience. Il a aussi beaucoup de compassion. Dr. Rheault a beaucoup d'expérience et a intérêt à satisfaire sa clientèle puisque la clinique lui appartient et qu'il est le seul vétérinaire. Le seul point négatif:la ponctualité. Comme Dr. Rheault prend le temps de parler aux maîtres de ses patients, il est souvent en retard. J'ai réglé ce problème en prenant toujours le premier rendez-vous du jour.
