Click to report rating    3/7/20   2     4     1     2   If you want to get service on time, this is not the place for you. They just put you in a room and tell you shortly there will be some one to see you, then they forget about you, leaving you there for at least 25 min without any up date of what is happening, if anything. I left after 25 min, this female vet seems to be entitled and cares nothing about your time. RID: 69109
Click to report rating    5/14/17   5     5     5     4   Great staff and service. The manager Stefanie was very helpful and accommodating to my needs. Amazing experience and I will be back for sure. RID: 63634
Click to report rating    6/15/15   5     5     4     5   Great vets! They are compassionate, affordable, and don't push expensive tests or procedures that are not needed. They offer the best care when medical intervention is required. If you need to bring your pet in for repeat visits, ie. rehabilitation monitoring, the fee is much reduced. Very helpful staff as well. Click to report rating    5/13/15   1     3     3     1   Why would the vet have to see my dogs to allow me to buy Advantage flea treatment. Especially since I live in a very small community in BC and needed some to bring home. Sounds like just another excuse for a greedy vet to make more money. RID: 56994
Click to report rating    12/28/14   1     3     2     1   Will not go into details...but this vet ensures they charge their consult fees and then do not check over your pet ( I had to ask for her to check his ears, etc that may have something do with the health concern my dog has) , felt feeling gouged and not feeling any better about my pets health. RID: 55220
Click to report rating    1/31/14   5     5     5     5   I have been 3 times in the last week after my dog was attacked by 2 others. Every time I walk in, they greet my dog by name, make her feel comfortable as they realize she is having anxiety with other dogs right now and change her bandages and address the concerns immediately. I don't have a lot of experience with other facilities but have nothing but respect and gratitude to offer the doctors, assistants and front door staff here. RID: 49587
Click to report rating    11/8/13   5     5     4     4   Our dogs have all passed on to the other side (yes...life is cheap for us now). We very much appreciate Dr Belford is kind, smart, realistic, and NOT money hungry. We had adopted my parents old (very old) dog so they could transition into a senior's living arrangement. We had taken the dog to her old vets in another part of town to keep continuity of care going. After a couple of experiences with the other vet, we decided to have the dog's records faxed to Dr. Belford's office. How can I put this.....without even seeing her before, he provided very very caring and humane vet work with the animal. The dog was not in good shape, and he never, never turned his back on getting an old decrepid dog. Kennels had turned their back on caring for her, but not Dr.B. And he uses his head. He does not push expensive medical tests to check things when the dog will not live long enough to survive the anestetic or enjoy recovery. Dr. B, thanks for providing care to our 4 dogs and cats!      10/5/13   5     5     5     5   I've been taking my cats here for years and I lost a very important part of my family a few years ago and Dr. Serfontien was incredibly sympathetic and knew I was heartbroken. She handled the situation with such care and tenderness even though I'm sure she had lot's of other patients to see. Dr. Belford is so honest. He always offers the most truthful advice and I never question it. I've also seen Dr. Reinshagen and she is amazing as well. My cat Persephone came in acting a bit funny and she completely put my mind at ease and reassured me Persephone was physically fine and not to panic (which I'm prone to do). Today Persephone is happy and healthy and playing like crazy making her mom feel a bit foolish. I love Dr. Reinshagen cause she didn't think I was nuts for saying my little girl seemed "off". She was very honest and checked Persephone completely. I told her my little girl had a mild reaction to her last annual inoculation and she said shes an indoor cat don't risk it. Click to report rating    6/26/13   1     4     3     2   The reception staff are very confrontational and not friendly at all. I hv been taking my pets there for over 20 yrs and it has been good up until the past few years. I hv had many negative visits with the reception, but recently the attitude when ordering repeat medicine that the Dr said I could, seemed to be a chore, was the last straw & felt I had to make a comment. They said they would call back. They did not.I called again. When I went to pick it up they had the wrong size. The attitude was, I made the mistake and there was no friendly Oops, or I'm sorry. They do not smile and they appear to not enjoy being around animals and are not friendly towards them. The Drs are Great! I would not recommend this vet as you hv to make arrangements with the reception staff. Dr Belford and Dr SerFontein are great with my animals. RID: 43323
Click to report rating    3/15/13   5     5     4     5   I do admit I sometimes wait here for a bit, however it is worth the wait. After visiting several clinics in Calgary, by far the most knowledgeable, fair staff I have come across. I will not take my dog to anyone other than them. RID: 41094
Click to report rating    3/5/13   5     5     5     5   Dr handle my dog really well(my dog left this clinic happy and with his tail up) and only charged me 50 bucks for my dog’s broken nail surgery which other Vet I went to CHARGED ME 250 EVERY TIME! And also, the Receptionists are friendly and helpful, the Tech and assistances are really nice as well. Highly recommend RID: 40854
Click to report rating    11/8/12   5     5     5     5   I and my kitten received the best care. After my kitten became unwell I phoned this vet as my usual one couldn't fit me in. The vet and I decided to see if he got better by the next day before we started drawing blood. When he was worse the next morning I got him in again straight away where they did blood work and X-rays. When I went to collect him I knew something was wrong and then the lovely female vet told me the probable diagnosis which was fatal but said that she had made him comfortable and we can wait until the next day for the blood work results to confirm it. Later that afternoon I had a phone call from the male vet for about an hour discussing the possibilities. He was so nice as I was grasping at straws. The next day the diagnosis was confirmed and I made the very hard decision to put him down. As soon as the male vet walked in he said " before we go any further I want to say you're doing the right thing". That was the most helpful thing anyone could've said. AMAZING!! RID: 38339
