We took our dog to Northgate Animal Clinic for the past 7 years. They have us wait 20-30 min after arriving on-time for appointments. On this occasion, we set an appointment and arrived 4-5 min late due to traffic (our first time late). We were never told of a policy. They said that we were 9 minutes late and that their policy was to refuse customers that are 7 min late. She stated our appointment was set for 5 min before the time that they told us when we made the appointment. We were within their 7 min timing, except she said our appointment time was 5 min before the actual appointment. The person behind the counter argued with us about the actual time, and showed that she was not interested in having us as a customer any longer. She was argumentative and stated that we were not going to be seen. We didn't argue with her, and showed her the respect that she didn't show us. We will find another vet for our dog. We referred others in the past, but will not do so in the future.

Staff was polite and friendly. Dr. Clark took time to talk to me and explain things so that I understood them. Will go back again.
