Mountain Road Animal Hospital 1750 Mountain Rd overcharges. We had dogs for 35 years, an ear red discharge smells like wine, we never had any vet charge us an extra $35.00 dollars to put under the microscope. And then , 2 weeks later our other dog gets the same ear infection, and I,m curtly told by the front staff, that if we bring the second dog in, it's again the full price $165.00. Really, you gonna put under the microscope again? Vet tells me that my 3 three year dog need a teeth cleaning. I asked; when is Dental aweness month? 'cause its cheaper then.. She said: WELL, if you going to wait THAT long, it's February. I tell ya, when I asked that rude front desk to transfer all our files to our new vet, she vey quickly obliged without questions. she's just happy I didn't"t complain about her to het bosses.Moncton Animal Hospital, 771 Mountain Rd are priced way less and don't charge for outing under the microscope. Christ, even I know what is prescription is needed for the year.

So happy with our experience at Mountain Road Animal Hospital! My dog needed to be seen for an infected tooth and they were able to see us within the hour of calling and charged half of what I have paid for an appointment at other clinics. They were able to book my dog in the following day for a full dental and extractions, and I paid hundreds of dollars less than the estimate. The staff are amazing and take the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you have (and patient enough to answer the phone and talk every time you call to check on your pet :)). So pleased that my dog is now healthy and happy, and with the quality of the service. Thank you!

I took my dog to this clinic twice and saw two different vets. They both thought my dog had a partial ligament tear in one of his legs. The only recommended option was to give him anti-inflammatory meds and watch him. On the last visit, we waited over an hour past the booked hour. They were running late. Over two months and $700 spent, my dog was getting worse. Last week, I emailed the clinic to ask for a referral to an orthopedic surgeon for my dog and to do so quickly, because he was in increasing pain. I never received a response back. I took it upon myself to book directly with the Riverview Animal Hospital where they have an orthopedic surgeon. I won't be returning to the Mountain Road Hospital.

We brought our rat Sonar in for a maloccluded tooth and Dr France Cyr took great care of our boy,we could tell he felt much better.Dr Cyr took the time to explain the medication, she reassured us that our little guy would be fine and that these things happen to even the best pet owners.Pricing was very fair, other clinics wanted to charge 70$ before they even knew what the issue was then charge for the procedure(s) on top of that plus medication. All in all, we walked out of this clinic with a happy pet,happy hearts and happy wallets. Keep up the great work and never lose your passion for animals!

I recommend this place to everyone. The vets and the rest of the staff are all incredibly nice. I have never once felt like I was being taken for a ride as far as getting me to pay for unnecessary tests. They actually care and will call to follow up and see how your pet is doing. I cannot recommend them enough. Their hours are clearly posted and they are affiliated with the clinic in Riverview that is open 24 hours so if you have an emergency when they aren't open, there is another place to go. If anything I would say they have helped me save money by not suggesting anything unnecessary. Have I mentioned how great they are? Kind, compassionate and always friendly.

WHEN IT COUNTS...THEY FALL VERY SHORT!!! Well, I don't want to completely trash this clinic because they were pretty good to my pet and I for several years. But sadly, when it really mattered and my pet's life was on the line, they disappointed...in a big way. 1) Hard to get an appointment in emergency (had to drive to riverview after hours and see staff that didn't seem confident and that I didn't know). 2) Didn't have the facilities (suggested I travel to PEI). 3) Recommended I put my pet down even though problem was undiagnosed. They are decent for routine things but when it really matters call Oaks Vet instead. They are always open (I've called them @3am), have more facilities and go the extra mile to save lives

We have been clients since they opened. We wouldn't go anywhere else. I wish they treated "humans" as well. The care and attention we get when we go is above and beyond. They always go the extra mile to accommodate us. Thank You Mountain Road Animal Hospital... we love you!!

Everything was great! Rosa is an incredible small animal doctor. You can tell she really, really loves her job! My little hamster was completely comfortable with her and is healing nicely. Thank you!

We have never been to a more loving Vet in Moncton,the Staff treated our dog Baxter with the absolute best care after his run in with a car,Baxter is fully healed and is as healthy as ever,all thanks to the Staff.You guys are the best and we recommend everyone to go there.

The staff at this clinic have taken care of our Silky Terrier since she was a baby and they have always gone above and beyond the call of duty. We have Dr. Hamilton as our Veterinarian and she has always provided the best care and advice to us . Our little dog loves her.

I have been with Mountain Rd. Animal Hospital since its opening and would no go anywhere else. The veterinarians and support staff are dedicated and caring towards their clients. I have had two dogs in the time I have been with this clinic and they have always received top-notch medical care!

The ladies at MRAH are amazing! We couldn't ask for better vet, tech's and receptionists. They really feel like an extended part of our family. They're the only ones I would trust to bring our rescue rats too and our personal pets as well.

Dr Gallon and all the staff at MRAH are excellent. I have been using this clinic for 10 years and have NEVER had an issue. The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable and Dr G is very compassion and thorough. She was very comforting when I had to have my kerry blue terrier euthanized and is great with my new dog. There is NO better in Moncton area.
