Marda Loop Veterinary Clinic has been our vet for 2 years now. My 15 year old cat Gizmo has Glaucoma and Dr. Stacey was very informative and also very helpful in finding options other than surgery to aid in his condition. She is always very informative, kind, and helpful. My cat is always comfortable with Dr. Stacey which speaks volumes. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a great Vet. Keep up the good work.!

This clinic was recently bought by vca. The front end staff is more interested in checking their cell phones and being on Facebook then they are in dealing with clients. Maybe if they put their phones away and did their jobs Barb would not make so many ridiculous errors. New manager is great if she likes you otherwise you are treated like crap. Vets now get paid on production so they are to busy to get back to you in a timely fashion. It now takes almost a week to get a refill on a prescription. Don't waste your time and money going here. So disappointed.

They are just interested in ripping you off here. Will charge you as much as they can and recommend unnecessary procedures.

We have had 3 bad experiences with this clinic. 2 of the times we had to take our dog to another clinic to fix the problems that they either didn't fix or had made worse. The first time our lab had a puncture from a bite that they thought was fine to leave open (our regular vet thought that was crazy). This time they have not been able to fix a pad paw injury and have billed us 3 times each time they try something else. Vets are expensive but this place is trying hard to find extra angles to bill.

Would not recommend seeing Dr. Alena Felkai. She could barely vaccinate my dog and almost stabbed me in the process. It seemed like her answers to my questions were mere guesses. I've heard similar things about this vet more than once.

Don't believe single reviews, believe the trend. This place rates well overall because it's an excellent practice. Period. I have been coming here for years and they have yet to give me one thing to find fault with. There is an unbroken chain of professionalism and genuine kindness and concern for your furry family member and for you that starts at reception and extends to the technician and then the vet looking to help your best friend. My vet is Dr. Pineo and she is a total rock star. Brilliant practitioner, genuinely caring and compassionate human being. When you're worried and your vet engenders absolute trust in their demeanor and actions you feel relieved that your animal is going to receive the help it needs. That's huge. Heather & her staff do that in spades. The complaint about price is 50/50, yes it adds up but you are definitely getting what you pay for. Competence and complete peace of mind when it comes to our friends is money very well spent. A++.

We took my Westie to this clinic a few years ago and they misdiagnosed her. They claimed to have taken an x-ray and said she had a broken toe and then tried to give her a splint that fell off constantly. Then a few months later we took her to another clinic to get a second opinion and they diagnosed her with legge per theses disease. This diagnosis should have been made my Marda Loop. We spoke to the vet about it and he said that they should have caught it on the x-ray and even if she did indeed have a broken toe as well, that a split is pretty much useless for a broken toe. Just like a human, it needs to heal on its own. I'm shocked by the great review that this clinic got. I have also spoken with a few of my neighbors and they would not go to this clinic either. Would not recommend it as they seem very interested in upselling and making money rather than treating the animal.

I am new to the city and have just gotten a new dog. I wasn't sure on where to take her but I found the recommendations about Dr. Jill, and thought to try her out. I can not express how grateful I am that there are people like her and her staff out there. Not only was I greeted warmly, but the staff was on time and very helpful. Dr. Jill made my day, her sense of humor put me at ease, her knowledge was incredible and her "bedside" manner was so caring. My dog and I love her! If you need a new vet this is your place!

We've taken our puppy to see Dr. Jill Harrison a few times for regular check ups and she is fabulous! Very knowledgable and personable. Also super punctual which is a huge plus. She was willing to follow an alternate vaccination schedule that our breeder recommended, and was full of little tips and things to watch out for with our new baby. We definitely recommend her and the clinic!

I am from Medicine Hat AB and have dealt with Dr. Jill Harrison here. I found her to be fantastic in all areas, she is a very caring knowledgable veterenarian. She takes the time to explain things, as well as being very personable. Medicine Hat's loss is definatley Calgary's gain. I would highley recommend her to anyone.

Dr.Bruce Roger is like family and treats my cats as such. Not only does he treat them well, he keeps an eye on my budget and gets me the best treatment possible. I would never change vets. The staff is amazingly helpful and cheerful! Your animals will be so well treated.

We've been going to Dr.Laura Romano for many years for chiropractic and acupuncture treatments for our 9 yr old dog that has a bad back. She works absolute miracles and is absolutely well worth seeing!! As for Dr. Wanda Vockeroth she was not as helpful. SHe came very highly recommended by many people and is said to be a miracle worker but we were not impressed with her at all. We went to her twice and paid a lot of money and came away with nothing. I came well prepared with detailed documentation of my dog's diet and her allergic reactions/symptoms. I'd done lots of research, had my questions ready and was expecting great things as she is supposed to know so much about raw food diets, etc. I found that any of the questions I asked her, she really had no answer for. I was very disappointed with the lack of information and was basically left with having to figure out "on my own" as to what my dog was allergic to. Very disappointed with her! Front staff is excellent!!
