Called to get an appointment for our budgie, as he wasn’t feeling well. The women that answered the phone was so gruff and lacks empathy. Made me feel like I was a horrible person. The entire conversation she was rude and demeaning. I ended up booking the appointment because I thought they were the only vet in the area that would see birds. Called another vet and they were so kind and compassionate about our situation. So we will be going there. When I called back to Glencoe to cancel the appointment, a man, I assume, the vet answered the phone. I kindly said we will not need that appointment, I will be cancelling. I then said, kindly, that the reason for my cancellation is due to the way the women talked to me in the phone. His response was” well, we have to ask questions. “ I responded “ those weren’t questions, she was rude and not at all compassionate to the situation. “ he respond “ fine go somewhere else” and hung up the phone. Would never recommend thembased on this interaction.

We paid $200 for a splint to be made and placed on our new Tagu lizard... they said they knew how to deal with him. A week later, we got news that he had to have his leg amputated due to it being placed too tightly. Very upsetting. We then took him to another clinic where they couldn’t repair and let him die. Definitely will be filing complaints with the veterinary board.

Was not happy with the way they treated my animal, if they had stop picking at my animal he may have not if died, because it gets they heart rates up and they have seizure or heart attacks, I understand he was sick but he could have been cleaned when he was feeling better or given him a break and I could have done it, also kept walking away for phone calls also when in the middle of dealing with my animal.

They claim they have 35 years of experience but it's hard to believe they only had 1. The vet gave me a lot of misleading/false information about guinea pigs diets and couldn't even figure out where to put the thermometer. Very unprofessional and has no knowledge at all. Took advantage of me for being desperate and charged $186 for the exam and some critical care that I can buy from the store for less than 20 dollars (found that out after). Called to complain about how we felt ripped off and he was very rude and started to yell. My guinea pig is getting worse and this vet has done NOTHING for him. Because of them, I cant afford to bring Thor to the regular vet I bring him too. They care more about the money than the animals. At one point over the phone he quoted 'I don't care' when we said the treatment did not help. This guy needs to lose his licence and the practice needs to be shut down. A homeless guy can do a better job.

The lady is so extremely rude and unfriendly. If it wasn't for the fact that he knows about reptiles I would never ever go back there again. He's patient and seems to know what he's doing. As for his prices I find them too high. And to ask for the animal to be rechecked for the same cost as the initial exam is highway robbery. A couple of his recommendations goes aginst everything else that I have been told in the past. He really needs to not have his grumpy wife working with him. It would truly make it a much better place to go.

Called to inquire about pricing for putting down our beloved feline. This is a difficult time for us. We are saddened and heart broken and wanted to Price line and to make plans book an appointment somewhere close to home as we know we will be tearful driving home. Instead of receiving sympathy the woman answering the phone was gruff. Told us our family vets diagnoses of dementia was nonsense and that they wouldn't put the cat down for that reason. I couldn't believe how rude she was considering the circumstances I would have expected to be shown some empathy. I promptly hung up on her as I refuse to be treated in that manner. Just ridiculous. Called our family vet who without knowing we were their clients expressed sympathy immediately and provided pricing and instructions to call when we are ready and offered info about euthanasia at home options. The Glencoe vet might want to consider speaking to his secretary about her abilities to diagnose over the phone and rude manner!

the only place to take my dog and let me pay later. my fault I did not pay that month as I had surgery and was not able to pay it.when asked before if I could make payments was told yes. then made to sign paper to pay all. I admit I didn't do it but told his wife that I am trying to get the money together anyway I can. I only get 300 a month for food and other things I need after rent. I said I would try to get the money by end of month. instead of being polite she told me that either I pay by a certain or she would phone odsp and screw with my cheque. she said just pay or else. why so nasty. now I will be sending monthly payments to them till its paid and she can phone all she wants to. she did not have to talk to me like I was a piece a trash.

Very friendly relaxed atmosphere but unfortunately way to expensive. You can get the same service or better for much much less so it is hard to justify going to this clinic.

The good: small quiet clinic. Not too busy so you don't feel rushed. Dr. Foot is knowledgeable and friendly. The bad: the most expensive vet clinic I have ever been to. All their fees are very high they even include and bill you for re-check. Their 5 minute re-check is more expensive than exam fees for most vet clinics!!

Called this clinic just to get a price on a spay for a stray cat, just trying to do the right thing. Woman was extremely rude first thing out of her mouth was "are you shopping around"...of course, as there are vets out there that are trying to help the public with economical prices to do this. They are obviously not the place and claim to price match but then said $180 was a great price and would be what they would do it for, she then got defensive when I mentioned another vet in London who does it for $120. She wouldn't let me finish sentences and would argue with me about them be an animal hospital. So I have to pay a premium because they call themselves a hospital and not a clinic. So amazingly rude I would never bring my animals there at this point.

Only knowledgeable EXOTIC VETERINARIAN west of Toronto. Also now does state of the art Endoscopic surgery and diagnostics. Been his client for years and he knows his stuff! Brought my very, very ill Amazon around. I relearned a lot and COCO now shows ALL his colours and has got a clean bill of health. Lots of lab work, most done on site, lots of TLC. If you go somewhere else then you don't really have any real devotion to your pets. Would you send your children to anyone who doesn't deal with children? I know I wouldn't. This is not the darks ages - medicines is making great strides and it only works if you've got a dedicated clinician!
