Recently had a very sick puppy. Dr. Watt was amazing; he was clear about the issues, but remained empathetic throughout the expereince. Billing was discussed in advance and was again clear and fair... i was expecting to pay WAY more. I understand this clinic is part of a larger association (Alberta owned): i like the idea that a company can add consistency and quality to what would have been a single doctor practise. Great experience

My dog passed away at the Dunbar clinic last thursday. The vet was not even in when she died, he was at another clinic they are associated with. When he called the house that day (from the other clinic) he asked to talk to my step mom and did not give me any idea of what my dogs condition was. I was five mins down the road from her but instead she died alone, without the vet and without her family. We never got to say goodbye. He had my dog for three days and couldn't figure out what was wrong. He told my step mom that what she had was not something dogs die from. He didn't seem concernd enough to treat her quickly. As well, we had taken her in two weeks before about her breathing problems, he didn't didn't seem to care about the breating and now he is guessing (because he still doesn't know)that she died of a respitory illness. If i coud turn back time I would NEVER have taken my poor sweet yellow lab to him. Now my family has to live with sadness and regret. THIS VET IS AWEFUL.

$$$$$ It's all about the money. My cat was scooting on the carpet. Mildly irritated skin around bum. 10 minutes 1 tube of cream $236! Can only imagine if something were actually wrong with your pet! Be careful ASK about everything before they do it. Then the staff had the nerve to say.. well if you're worried about money you shouldn't go to a vet on the westside!
