Dr Eric Foot is the best Vet - highly professional, knowledgable and with great passion for animal health and well-being. He is our Vet for 20 years and has always been available for great care as we needed. Thanks a lot from us and our dogs: Terry and Dandy.

It's important that I explain why I'm rating Dr. Foot so low. Dr Foot is a very good vet. He is down to earth and displayed special care when I brought my 2.5 months old puppy for a visit. I'm rating his Staff, Facilities and Punctuality as 1/5 because they do not own a computer and do not follow-up with patients. After my puppy had his first shots, there was no follow-up for booster shots because there is no system in place for them to contact you, it is managed as a manual process. When the staff said, "Dr Foot needs to see you in one month for his follow-up shots", it is up to me to call back in exactly one month to schedule a new appointment. Their staff does not keep track of any reminders for future appointments. I understand that I could have very well marked this in my calendar, but I was under the impression that someone would call me back to schedule an appointment in a month. Alas, that was not the case and I now need to pay for a whole new set of shots for my puppy.

I brought my very old dog to see Dr Foot a few years ago and I forget the détails but the memory is very positive and he does not care about money which is SO rare.I will be going back for sure.

I have two dogs and have used Dr. Foot from the very beginning. He came highly recommended by my sister. Now I recommend Dr. Foot to anyone who asks me who I use. Dr. Foot is so well known in Montreal that most of the people I meet at the dog park already goes to him. He is calm and reasonable, and he really puts my mind at ease. He also only recommend treatments that are needed so I am never afraid of being taken advantage of. But most importantly, my pets love him, he is very gentle and friendly.

My two sisters, with our four dogs and a cat, have been seeing Dr. Foot for the last 12-13 years so he can care for our beloved pets. His holistic and non-invasive approach has saved much pain, unnecessary medication, vaccination and surgery for the animals. He verifies your lifestyle before he prescribes anything to make sure it's applicable to you and you pet. Yes, he can probably recommend many useless procedures and make lots of money so he can move into a fancy office but he cares more for hiis patients than he cares for money. In this day and age, about how many people can you say this? I swear by Dr. Foot and have recommended him to evryone and anyone who is looking for a caring, solid, experienced and highly knowledgeable vet. My dog actually looks forward to going to the doctor, if only she would feel the same way about the groomer...

If you are looking for a no-nonsense veterinarian who doesn't go mainstream but uses common sense instead and for someone with the most gentle manners (I told him he has THE MAGIC TOUCH with animals), well, you found him! The first time I met him was 18 years ago at a clinic on Laurier Street in Outremont and then I lost track of him until recently; my cats and I are very lucky that I was able to find him again! Your appointment might be delayed since he doesn't keep an eye on the clock but rather on your pet(s) and answers your questions; small price to pay, wouldn't you say?

The best vet ever! he saved me $$$$$ and prevented my pet from getting unnecessary surgery. I was referred to him by a client of his, and I am so glad that I went for a second opinion. My dog is back to his old self after being cared for by Dr.Foot. needless to say, he is now my forever vet.

It is a very unpleasant Clinic: tiny, noisy (street) and without air conditioning during a heat wave. Dr. Foot does not have any technicians nor any basic diagnostic equipment (besides the stethoscope). He seems to be stuck in the 19th century. I don't care if he's nice, he needs to provide basic good quality vet services for me to be sold on his competency. I don't trust that kind of environment. Plus, he only works from 1pm to 3pm from Monday to Friday. And 3 times a week, he works from 5pm to 7pm as well. Very inconvenient.

First contact with Dr Foot was when we had a great Dane who was urinating with blood with a previous Vet remarking this was normal. We walked out after asking him if it was normal if he urinated blood. Dr Foot immediately decides that the male dog had to neutered to solve the problem. He was rght. As noted above when entering his consultation room, you are asked to sit down and Dr Foot crawls on the floor and talk to the animal while making his diagnosis. He only sells his service, not rubbish.

Eric Foot is an excellent vet. I wish I knew a doctor like hime for myself: no useless procedures "just in case" and not a medication "pusher". Altogether a great person and a very competent vet!

I've had dogs for 40 years+ including a show dog and Dr. Foote is bar far the best I have ever had. He takes his time with your dog, doesn't push crap food or drugs down your throat, or make you go through any unnecessary procedures as most vets will do. Most vets in this city don't know what they're doing unless it's to grab your cash, but Dr. Foote is different. He actually advised me against doing certain procedures; I took his advice and my dog healed naturally. If there were only more Dr. Footes and less of the other crappy vets, the world would be a better place.

Kind and warm personality, patience and respect for animals and truly concerned in their wellbeing, interested in all aspects related to his patients' lives, this is how I would describe dr Foot's professionalism and attitude. He is not keen on recommending medication IF it's not necessary, and his office is just a vet office - not a pet food store. Always interested and has a piece of advice relative to the relationship dynamics and interaction between pets and their guardians, especially when behavioural problems are involved. Dr Foot re-establishes my respect and trust in vet doctors. Thank you.

Dr Foot is by far the best vet in Montreal! His wife who is also he receptionist is a pleasure and always greets you with a smile. He is great with animals and is not always trying to over change you. You can trust him completely with you pets welfare!

Our 10 yr old pug was not doing well at all and thought that our only option was to operate. We heard of Dr. Foot and decided to go see him. Its been 10 days since, and our beloved pug has completely changed she is on a healthy path and full of life. He is hands down the best vet out there. He is patient and very giving with his time. We were very impressed with his calmness and kindness towards our dog. Thank you Dr. Foot!

Best vet I've ever had. Dr. Foot is one of a kind. His office is calm and antique. No computer used. He greets the dogs on the floor instead of on a table. He believes in the least intervention possible instead of convincing you to buy every product on the market. Inexpensive, truly amazing care.

Dr. Foot is a pet 'whisperer' - he can communicate with pet by touch and examination. Careing, knowledgeable and calming for both client and pet. He has seen my cats over the years, and his approach is the benchmark for excellence Small, intimate office -(in NDG) big heart.

The best vet I have had anywhere, including California, New York, Texas, all over North America. He is incredibly caring and able to treat the animals completely holistically, not focusing just on symptoms but at larger underlying causes as well. Animals feels incredibly at ease in their care.

Anyone who would like to experience how a first class veterinarian works should consult Dr. Eric Foot at the Ville Marie Vet Office. I've had pets for 45 years, and have never known any vet who is as competent, as caring and with as much professional integrity as this man. Hopefully he'll be around for my pets for many more years. We'd be lost without him. Thank you Dr Foot for the patience and kindness you show my animals. You are a genuine class act.
