I Have been going to Willowdale for years. It use to be a good place to take your pets to but not anymore. The change over on the staff there is ridiculous. I use to like calling and going there because I knew everyone at the front desk now there are only a couple people at the front who know what they are doing. Not sure what goes on at the back. I love Dr. Neculoiu, Azan-Backx and Dr. Lee its a shame that I don't feel comfortable taking my pets there anymore and that what use to be in my eyes such a good hospital has gone way down in the dumps now.

Kathy Alcock is our vet and she has done an amazing job with both our dogs. I would absolutley reccomend Dr. Alcock to be your vet. The staff at the clinic are always welcoming and a pleasure to deal with.

There is no doctors during the day. If you have emergency do not go there. Nobody will help you. If someone has an appointment ( usualy they book for the evenings ) then there will be a doctor for this appointment and you may meet the doctor. Sorry but this is not good.

I have been to this clinic for over 15 years. sometimes I waited for appointments. I used to get miffed. recently we had an emergency with our dog and they took us immediately and moved heaven and earth to save her. other people waited that day. now I know I will never again get remotely bothered when I wait. I know that the vets are tending to the injured - it is really good to know there is super docs out there. we see Dr's Krebs, Neculoiu and Lee. they are the BEST.

We had taken our beloved dog to this hospital since she was a puppy. Unfortunately, they let us down in the worst way. They didn't give us any advice on preventative care and we lost our dog to soon from kidney failure.
When she fell sick, they charged us double the estimate, a total of $5,000+HST. And they sent us home with a dying dog! :(
Our dog had Couching's disease and the vet never told us the importance of doing annual complete full profile blood test, the importance of a strict diet, or to look for natural holistic remedies that can detoxify the dog's major organs that failed very fast and in a tragic and painful way for both our dog and us.
Our dog could have lived a few more years if the vet had properly explained all of the above. We are deeply saddened and disappointed!!!
Moreover, the hospital does not even have the proper facility for the staff to take the dog out for pee and poo, and she was constipated every time we left her there!!!

Dr Bloom cares nothing about your time the wait is usually over an hour and he is more concerned you can pay your bill than save the pet.Rooms are filthy.

They made me wait an hour to see a vet, even though I had an appointment. Then they charged me for something I did not ask for nor did the dr ask for. The big blond lady in the front desk pocketed the money. I would reconsider going to this vet, they are robbers and do not care about your pet. When I got to the clinic, there was a lady crying because the vet did something to her pet.

Excellent care! Dr. Azan-Backx answered ALL of my many emails, provided me with multiple options to deal with my cat's illness, and showed genuine concern over the health of my pet. I hope I get the same care when I'm an 89yr old!

We have been attending this clinic for almost 40 years and we have recently had some very sick pets who require the 24/7 care. Our pets have been taken care of by many of the vets in the past, but the care that we received for our Jack Russell, Hutton, was outstanding! Dr. Patricia Lee took Hutton's case on when he seemed hopeless at the age of one year and though her wisdom, patience and great understanding, managed to keep him both alive and happy for almost 11 1/2 more years. We thought our troubles were over when we adopted a new dog, but serious issues occurred and once again, we required a very focussed team approach on Halo's issues. Dr. Doris as well as Drs.Pat Lee and Dr. R. Ibrahim have been invaluable in her treatment.These three, with an extra hand from some of the other doctors, have all worked together to give her the best possible chance.The other staff have been equally kind and compassionate to all our pets and very reassuring to us on the phone and in person.

Dr. Bloom is amazing,very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, does not rush the appointment, he calls with test results, returns our phone calls, he follow up his patients, answers all our questions and most important he makes sure we fully understand everything he is doing and the reasoning behind it. Dr Bloom will be our vet for as long as we have our dog Canelita . A+++++++!
Last but not least, the staff are friendly and helpful and seem to care about every animal that comes through the door............We highly recommend Willowdale Animal Hospital and Dr Bloom.

Dr. Doris is simply AMAZING! She is, by far, the best veterinary surgeon available in Toronto. The facility is state of the art, the staff is truly concerned about the well being of your animals and the follow up is fantastic. We have been there 4 times in an emergency capacity most recently for a broken leg. We got photo updates, check-in calls and each of our concerns were addressed full. Dr. Doris Neculoiu is a credit to her profession our dog, Beau, is healing ahead of the curve. We have, as a result of our experience, made her our regular vet. jeffrey & paul reffo

Dr Bloom is the best! Finds the underlying promblem,doesn't just treat the symtoms. Will call on his day off because he truly cares! I have known Dr. Bloom for over 15 years and would recommend him as an outstanding,caring doctor who can make the sickest of pets healthy. I'm so thankful that my animals have Dr Jonathan Bloom as their vet! E. McIsaac

We went to Willowdale when our new dog experienced an emergency. They have been amazing to us for both emergency work as well as for ongoing preventative care. We feel the staff, and particularly Dr. Krebs has taken the time to really know and understand us and our dog. It's also wonderful to work with a clinic where our regular vet is available after we get off work. I also appreciate the comfort of knowing people who know my dog are available 24x7 to care for him should another emergency occur. We have recommended Willowdale to friends for regular care as well as emergencies. Buster gives them a rating of "four paws up".

I have nothing but positives to say about Willowdale Animal Clinic on Sheppard Avenue and their veterinarians Dr Doris Neculoiu, Dr Krebbs and Dr Hall. I will typically book with Dr Neculoiu as she does all of the exotic's surgeries. Dr.N has spayed/neutered all 8 of my bunnies and 3 (soon to be 5) additional rabbits that I have fostered. All sailed through their surgeries without complications. I would never leave my companions unsupervised, overnight. Willowdale is 24/7 and always has Doctors and technicians on site; even on holidays. Whether I am bringing in one of my cutest bunnies or one of my elderly, toothless, grumpy old ex-tomcats, they are all told how beautiful/handsome they are and treated with caring hands. Over the years, I have had to deal with the deaths of several of my companions. Both my loved ones and I were treated with genuine empathy and respect. I would highly recommend this clinic and above all, the exceptional Dr. Neculoiu.

I have been using Willowdale Animal Hospital for over 10 years to look after my cats. I love the fact that they are there 24x7. I have had to bring in a sick animal in the middle of the night and there is always a veterinarian and staff member available to care for them. Also the fact that after a spay or neuter, the animal is not sent home the same day, they stay over night and are properly cared for till the following day to go home. I have worked with many of the staff but the vet I mainly work with is Dr. Cindy Krebs, she is great. I also found out the many of the vets have specialties and when your dog or cat needs that kind of care they are treated by them. When I had a parvo virus outbreak in my home they were so compasionate and understanding to me and my cats. You get what you pay for, I would highly recommend them for care for your animals.

We were very pleased with the care and attention the vet (Cindy Krebs) gave to our bunny. We have had no problems with this clinic and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet.
