A couple of the vets are caring and take care of pets but some are incompetent. In particular, Dr. West is an egotistical, rude, incompetent vet in any other area aside from skin problems. His incompetency contributed to the death of my pet. I have not returned there since the incident. The owner only seemed to care about money and did not care when I voiced my concerns. I still have unanswered communications outstanding, months later. It makes me so angry that people like this are dealing with animals.

This is a great animal hospital. I have a rabbit and Dr. Dibblee is so good with him and very knowledgable. If you have an exotic pet this is definitely the place for you to go to keep him/her healthy.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are amazing, you are treated like family from the moment you walk in. They are never to busy to help you or offer advice. They are kind and compassionate when having to make heartbreaking choices. I know that my dog is getting the best care when we go. Recently Penny had dental surgery and they called and updated me every step of the way, they called the next day to make sure things were going the way they should be. Thank you all! They are not the "Other family Dr" they are the family Dr and we love them!

I have been in only once, with my Ferret who has a rapidly growing surface tumor, This was the best vet I have ever been to (both in and out of province). I Live in Cole Harbour, and dont always have acess to a car, but this place is worth the trip. We will be back soon to have my little guy's growth removed, and I am sure it will be another good experience.

In my opinion, the best vet's in the city. The front office staff are amazing, they know our names and those of our five animals, greet us personally every visit. They have fit us in on a busy day when our dog needed to be seen immediately. Vet techs are thorough, detail oriented and ask all of the right questions. They have three full time vets on staff, all are wonderful. With five animals, we've made a lot of trips to the vet over the years and this is the first facility where I have felt comfortable, cared about, and that they had the best interest of our animals as their number one priority. In other clinics, we got brushed off when we dared to ask questions, here they'll talk to you for as long as you have concerns. They explain every test, every procedure and always give you the options and the reasoning to help you decide a course of treatment. Our cat was very ill last Christmas and they went above and beyond, they saved her life and for that we are so very grateful!!
