I had just moved from Illinois to Scottsdale with my Golden who has suffered the majority of his life with bad allergies. He wasnt looking good so I took him to DYNAMITE animal hospital- that DR. Almost killed my dog. For a month he suffered terribly. Finally, I got a referral from someone who said go see Dr. Anger- she saved my Bentleys life. She went right into action and began to treat thr infection the very, very bad DR, @ Dynamite caused & then we went on to diagnose the real issue (which was caused by the DR.@Dynamite). Dr. Anger & her group took control of the situation-not just with drugs...but thought, experience and knowledge. I truly believe my boy survived because of her natural instinct to animals and their needs. Her crew was very well trained & attentive to Ben too. I only wish I could have proved the malpractice of the Dynamite Dr.- the idea she could do this again...is unimaginable. Dr. Anger & crew..5 Star- First Class people who SHOULD be doing what they do!

Went initially when we moved to the area but quickly decided it wasn't for us. Didn't like the vibe even before one of our dogs was misdiagnosed and died. We lost two precious months of treatment time and beat ourselves up for a very long time after not taking her back to our old vet sooner. She would be alive today if we'd done so. They are incredibly overpriced for the lack of personal attention. No options or explanations for care given. Once when I was at a nearby Cave Creek business a dog came meandering thru the desert - turns out this dog was being boarded at this place and got loose. Would have surely been hit by a car if it got any closer to Cave Creek Rd. As an animal hospital, that's completely irresponsible.

EXTREMELY overpriced. I took my animals to Dr. Anger for about a year and a half, always paying too much but I was new to the valley and felt that Dr. Anger was a good vet. I misjudged her. My Min-Pin developed what I thought was a bladder problem - after many visits, several thousand dollars, and countless moments pleading with Dr. Anger and her staff to listen to me, I was "reminded" that Dr. Anger was the vet and that I shouldn't question her methods nor diagnosis. At that point, I took my beloved Min-Pin to a retired doctor, who was the father of a friend. After only one examination, he quickly determined that my little one was suffering from liver and kidney failure. He saved her sweet life for a short 6 months before she finally lost her battle. Had Dr. Anger listened to my pleas instead of just constantly prescribing antibiotics, my little girl might still be alive. I am still angry at myself for not taking my dog to another doctor sooner. PLEASE do not make the same mistake!

Way overpriced. I'm so sick of the vet offices charging insane amounts for basic care. Yes, everyone has to make a living, but the fees are outrageous. The temp vet that fills in at this office has lousy people skills, and I wasn't thrilled with the results. I'm still looking for a better vet.

I found Dr. Anger through the AHVMA website, but I wouldn’t say she is truly holistic. She incorporates it into her practice, but she also recommends antibiotics when they are not necessary and she has advocated feeding Royal Canin to my cats, though she did support my choice for a homemade diet. The staff is always professional and friendly and the office is very clean. The downside is that you will be charged almost $10 over the normal office visit fee if the vet deems your animal sick and $40 extra if they allow you an emergency visit. I was willing to overlook the extra cost of bringing in a sick animal (though, what is the vet there for?) because Dr. Anger is a knowledgeable and competent vet, but when I was charged $80 to bring in a cat on short notice, I drew the line. I also feel that she pushes for expensive tests when they may not be needed. I am now searching for an able vet who is more concerned with their patients rather than their bank account.
