Exceptional animal hospital. As a breeder requiring multiple spay/neuter surgeries every year, on a small breed, I am completely confident in Dr. Kohlmaier's surgical skills which are unsurpassed. Dr. Fisher's knowledge, care and compassion are tops. Staff will always go the extra distance to get answers to my dozens of questions. Clean smooth running hospital and record-keeping. My only disappointment is that the many people I recommend to use this practice cannot get in - This practice is FULL.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this clinic is. The staff get on the floor with the dogs to make them feel comfortable, they always squeeze us in when our pup has an issue, even on a busy Saturday. In the past the vets have taken early morning calls before the clinic is open to advise us and usually give us information. they care so much about the animals and owners. Vets take the time to explain things and make owners feel at ease. They are the MOST knowledgeable vets we have experienced, able to diagnose and treat things other offices haven’t and I trust them entirely with my fur baby! They’re also an incredibly affordable clinic- they removed an object from my dogs paw, trimmed nails and just charged the basic exam fee. I love this clinic and it’s staff and am so grateful to have found them- we even drive 30 minutes to see them!

Our first experiencing with animal hospital. First puppy. So far, Dr. Fiona Fisher exceeded all expectations: so warm, understanding treatment. So lovely Spent a lot of time for explanations and guidance. Really happy with this experience and highly recommend this clinic to anyone who cares about his small "kids" ;-)

A few months ago I had to have my dog of almost 15 years put down due to lymphoma. When much dog was first diagnosed we saw Dr fisher. The compassion she showed my dog and I was very comforting and when it was time for me to say goodbye we saw Dr koelmeyer. He was wonderful with me and my family and allowed us the time we need to spend with dudley . Judy who works at the front desk is another special person. Each time I went in with dudley she was very kind to us and particularly the day I had to say goodbye to my best friend dudley. All the people at this hospital have ever been very kind, sympathetic and compassionate

This is one of the best veterinary clinics I have found. I did a lot of searching prior to leaving my old vet (the distance was the reason I changed vets) and Dr Kohlmaier has exceeded my expectations especially when it comes to compassion and love he has shown my girls. I have three Westies and our oldest has had her issues and Dr Kohlmaier has been there to pull her through. I would highly recommend West Oak Animal clinic to any person who is looking for a kind and loving veterinarian for their cats &/or dogs.

WE switched to this clinic based on several recommendations and we are happy to have done so. It is a bit farther to reach but we like the care and attention given by both vets and support staff. We left our previous vet because of any extremely unpleasant receptionist who was rude, obstructionist and clearly in the wrong line of work. When our animals get sick -which isn't often = we can expect a favourable reception here-which wasn't our experience at the previous Oakville hospital.
