I do love the doctor and he is very nice and thorough However, I always DREAD calling there! The lady that answers the phone is always so short, impatient, and sometimes I even find myself saying sorry to her for no reason. The first time I thought ok maybe they are just busy and she is having a bad day. But, low and behold every time I call she is just so rude! If doctor Force wasn't so good I would have changed doctors by now! I mean even the staff when I go there is great too but the lady who answers the phone has much to learn about telephone etiquette. I even told her to have a nice day at the end and all she said was aaaahoonn and hung up on me! No have a good day back or anything! And it's been like this for years! Don't know why he allows her to speak to customers like that. Like if I didn't know Dr. Forest was a good doctor and it was the first time I was calling this office I would've hung up and called another place because she was that rude!!!

My Lhasa was having seizures. Dr Force gave her phenobarbitol 12mg. The dog wouldn't eat, her head just bobbed up and down, and she staggered when trying to walk. She died 3 days later. I think the meds were way too strong for her. I wouldn't go back to this vet for anything.

I was recommended to Dr. Force and his staff wnen my 12 1/2 year old dog was very ill. While it was a very tough situation, and he did not have the history of my dog, the service I received was better than my own vet. My calls were returned at all hours, I was able to get appointments with minimal lead time, and I was always given options. Dr. Force's experience in the emergency medicine practice provided him with the confidence and network to refer me on to other practices for more sophisticated tests/procedures and second opinions. Additionally, I was always aware of the cost of services and I had the opportunity to talk through the pros/cons of each. When the time came to put my dog to sleep, Dr. Force and his staff were the most compassionate Team I have ever interacted with. When I get my next pet, I will definitely drive the extra miles for the expertise and professionalism the Forked River Animal Hospital extends.

Dr. Force is THE BEST VET in Ocean County and that doesn't say enough about how caring, professional, and helpful he is. My dogs are like my children and he treats them that way. His staff are wonderful, I have never had a bad experience with them which is a lot more than I can say for many of the vets in this area. I would rate 1,000 if I could.

This is a professional staff which has returned phone calls in the middle of the night..."several times"...My adult Weimeraners have been happy members of this practice for many years. From puppyhood to the end, this practice cares for our pet's with a kind Heart and a professional manner...There are no others I would trust but Dr Force and his Staff... They represent a communal example of ever caring professionals...If they accepted humans, Dr. Don Force would be my primary Doc!!!

DR FORCE WAS THE VET FOR OUR DOG BAYLEE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. BAYLEE WAS A FAMILY PET AS WELL AS A THERAPY DOG FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO DRIVES A MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR. OUR GOLDEN NEEDED AN INFECTED TOOTH EXTRACTED AND SEVERAL OTJER VETS SAID IT WOULD BE A VERY DIFFICULT TASK, ESTIMATING CLOSE TO 900 DOLLARS. WITH DR FORCE'S VAST EMERGENCY EXPERIENCE, HE DID IT WITHOUT DIFFICULTY FOR A MUCH MORE REASONABLE PRICE. WE FELT THE UTMOST CONFIDENCE IN HIM AND HIS KIND STAFF. Several years later Dr Force had to tell us Baylee was terminal. He and his tech helped us through a terrible experience with tact and compassion. thank you. When we get a new dog, we will surely use Forked River Veternary Clinic and we drive over 30 minutes to get there!

I have been going to Forked RIver Animal Hospital since it opened. I show bulldogs and Dr. Force and his staff have been there for me from welcoming a new puppy to having to say goodbye to my soul dog, to supporting other breeds such as Boxer Rescue for one. Dr. Force has taken care of both my dogs since his practice has opened. He and his staff have been wonderful. One of my dogs started having seizures and was put on the standard medication for seizures. After several months when the seizures weren’t lessening, which is what we had hoped for and I was about to give up I called Dr. Force who said there are other medications and not to give up yet. He researched and found one that was cost effective for me. My dog is doing much better with the incorporation of the new medication. He is also on three other medications so I am calling the office at least twice a month to renew and his office staff is always pleasant and courteous.

Absolutely the best of everything at FRAH. A super experienced Doctor who can do most of what other vets refer out to the specialty ER places because he worked for them. A super staff led by a compassionate and professional named Diane and prices you can actually afford. I travel 30 miles because my many pets deserve the best care andFRAH is the place to get it. I tell everyone I know!

Dr. Force and his entire staff have been so kind,caring and compassionate, as I just recently had to have my little "Yorkie" put to sleep the family atmosphere was very consoling. Dr. Force is "ONE of a KIND".I recommend him to everyone I know because his experience and staff are the BEST in this entire area. Kudos and Thanks for being always so kind. Mary Tully

I was taking my little girl Westie on a road trip out of state during July 4th week. Reading that this is the time of yr most animals are startled & will run or hide I panicked thinking what would I do if she got lost. I love NJ but I would never leave to come home w/o her. So I called Dr.Force & asked him about a microchip & he answered every ? I had PATIENTLY. Would there be a reaction?Would it hurt her?How does it work? & on & on.We met Dr.Force & Vet Tech Tiffany @ the door & were escorted to the exam rm. Dr.Force was very busy but took the time to answer more ?'s,read her reports from my former vet that were faxed to him & also to let me take a picture of her during this procedure. Tiffany gave my girl lots of hugs & kisses & held her while she was microchipped.Then her nails were trimmed.Usually she will try to nip but this time only a slight whimper & for the 1st time no bleeding.The kindness&caring of Dr.Force &the professional staff @FRAH is the reason why. Highly Recommend.

Dr. Force is compassionate and caring. He helped me do one of the hardest things ever to say goodbye to my beloved dog. His staff are caring and friendly. The hospital environment is clean and well kept. The prices are very fair. I would highly recommend Forked River Animal Hospital.

I am giving this animal hospital the highest rating due to the treatment we received from Dr. Force and his tech Brianna. We had to put our beloved dog to sleep and Dr. Force kindly offered to meet us before regular business hours so that my daughters and I could do this privately. His tech very lovingly carried our big dog in and they both made a very sad experience just a little bit easier for us. Their compassion was greatly appreciated.

I have used Forked River Animal Hospital since they opened. I used Dr.Force prior to opening his Animal Hospital. He and his staff are always courteous, and he always has my furry family best interest at heart. They are very affordable,professional and prompt when an emergency arise. He has taken care of my 2 dogs, a rottie and bloodhound, and now my new family member, a cane corso mastiff, as well as my foster dogs. I am so glad that there is vet I can depend on. I would recommend this vet hospital to anyone in this area.

I cannot say enough good things about the veterinary services my cat has received from Forked River Animal Hospital, but I guess sharing with you that I am willing to drive an hour to have my cat treated at FRAH should say it all. My cat is 17 years old, and suffered trauma from a fall prior to being seen at FRAH. I was concerned at first that a new vet would not take that information into consideration. Dr. Force immediately put my concerns to rest, and treated my cat in both a humane and economical way -- for example, my previous vet had her on an expensive product for stiffness, and on her first visit with Dr. Force,he told me to just give her a small dose of baby aspirin every three days - which did the trick! If I ever get another pet, I won't hesitate to take it to FRAH - Dr. Force and his staff are dedicated professionals who care about pets and their owners as well.

This vet is one of the most unprofessional, incompassionate people I have ever met. After taking my cat there, the cat later passed(thankfully I took him somewhere else) after 2 days. I emailed the office to questions the reason for plan of care. The staff had responded quickly, in such a nasty way, even bolding letters in email, never even giving condolences, he asked me where his $239.00 was and why I still owed him money. It has been 11 days since treatment and I received paperwork from his "attorney" for the $239.00. If you value your pet, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE

Vet is harsh and crude. My dog came in for allergies and during the exam the vet cut the corner of my dogs eye and blamed the dog. NOW my show dog has a scar at the corner of his eye and it keeps opening back up and bleeding. NO DOG should leave the vet's office bleeding. WILL NEVER GO BACK AT ALL!!!! And of course, he won't admit that he injured my dog further, just keep blaming the dog when I WAS RIGHT THERE!!!!
